~ About Master Wong ~
His early life was filled with many hardships and much suffering. Times were often sad and difficult for him and for his family and those around him. The bullying and violence that Master Wong suffered as a child got him into many scrapes and personal battles which adversely affected the quality of his education, causing him to leave school at a young age. His life continued down a difficult road, with many struggles and numerous obstacles along the way.
With the success that he has had since those times, he realizes that he can push the boundaries further and not just help people by teaching them his skills in Martial Arts, but that he can also guide people to build up themselves by achieving better health.
Good health comes in all shapes and sizes and Master Wong has learned that with health, wealth can follow - once body and mind are united. Dreams can be achieved once you have good health: strength in body and mind. After all, if your body was a Ferrari, wouldn’t you fill its tank with the best fuel that you can?
It is essential to make health a top priority in order to stay focused in life.
“There are many ways to help people, but I don’t believe in giving a man a fish to feed himself for a day: I want to teach a man to fish so he can feed himself and others for a lifetime! I want to show people how they can heal themselves from the inside out, and to help them build the self-confidence they need so that they can focus on their goals and dreams or find their purpose in life.”
Master Wong’s book will help you understand how, despite adversity, you can work to overcome the modern-day challenges we face. His mission is to raise awareness, to help you become the best version of yourself that can be achieved. Master Wong has overcome this problem by changing his mindset which you'll read in this book. ► bit.ly/2N8sE0a

I asked you many times master wong you didn't answer me of about how to defend if someone grabs your arm or your elbow and knee you?
@richcapo
@richcapo 4 жыл бұрын
He’s not going to reply. Perhaps he’ll post your name and an emoji or so, but that’ll be it. Who knows, though? Maybe if you keep asking, he’ll finally give you a real answer. It likely won’t be a real and USEFUL answer, I don’t think, but so it goes. As for your question: Like I’ve said twice now, defend against the knee, use conventional and unconventional tactics to brutalize the most vulnerable areas of your opponent’s body, and then run away.

Yacob Mahmoud, my pleasure. Stay safe. Look into a Krav Maga school that spars if you want to learn how to street fight. Get a job as a bouncer if you want to learn how to end physical threats with minimal force as a civilian. Whether sparring or bouncing, never employ any move that heightens the vulnerability of your soft spots. So no clinching (heightens the vulnerability of your eyes, ears, throat, facial skin, etc.), under hooks (same), guillotine chokes (groin), and so on. In other words, realize that certain moves that can work for you in the ring can work against you in the street, and avoid using those moves as you would avoid contracting the plague. And unless doing so is impossible, always avoid physical confrontation.

Have you joined his channel, or bought any of his merch? What have you done for M. Wong? Why do you think he owes you an answer? If you asked him once and he didn't reply, that is his reply. You can keep asking of course, but I see no reason to inform M. Wong that you have asked him many times. I doubt you can manipulate him.

mark tuthill, you are truly a man after my own heart. If you’re getting struck with knees while your arm is restrained, then forget about that arm and forget about pulling free. Defend and strike!
@richcapo
@richcapo 4 жыл бұрын
If someone goes to push you, I recommend stepping out of their channel and then striking their face, and this is because it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to swat their arms open or that your attacker will stand still after attempting to push you, which Wong and his partner, respectively, do in this video. People attack forcefully and stay in motion in real life. In Wong World, they attack limply and pose, but that’s just all so much shyster stuff; so I advise you to ignore it. Stay safe.

@richcapo 4 жыл бұрын
Tai Chi Tube, for the sake of argument, I’ll agree with you. Now, since few people practice Wing Chun hand tactics or Tai Chi hand tactics, I stand by what I said: It is unlikely that you (the general populace; not you specifically, Tai Chi Tube) will be able to swat a pusher’s hands open. Thus I also stand by what I recommended: Move out of your pusher’s channel and strike his or her face.

It'd be interesting to get Wong fans' and critics' opinions on the tactics taught in video referenced below. It's by corejkd, another Wing Chun instructor. I have no problem with the man. I actually like him. He's humble, he responds to queries, he doesn't try to lead viewers to any sales portal, and sometimes he tests his techniques under pressure. This unfortunately isn't one of those times. Search "Wing Chun Push and Hair Grab Defenses" by the channel "corejkd."

It also gives ya proper time to leave area and not be charged wit a heinous charge

In other words, if I understand you, stay close to your opponent and counter strike. Unless running away is possible, I agree with this. Don’t return his push, allowing him to attack again. Strike until he goes down (or until you can run away, I add).

And ignore anyone who says strength training doesn’t improve punching strength. All good boxers, MMA competitors, etc. engage in strength training for that reason (as well as for other reasons, of course). The benefits of strength training for fighters are immense. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Here’s a tip, throw punches while holding a hand weight or with a weight strap affixed to your arm at whatever point is safe and comfortable for you.

. @@stefanpoljakov9015 oh yes, another one - TBH if i was as ignorant as everyone in the mainstream media i would have the view as you. - tai chi is nothing like aikido - no martial art can be compared objectively. Tai chi is analogous to fighting as mathematics is to science, it is fundamental in understanding structure. - "he who does not know should not speak" you do not know tai chi apart from what is shown in media. Care to tell me the concept of "Peng" and tell me it doesn't work, although it is simple physics. taiji is power from one part not moving, to produce a 'stretch' which causes a 'rotation' (The same reason that you can walk: because the floor doesn't move when you take a step, so you can push of it to move). This is "Yin/Yang split", and so is used as a point of reference, so the opposite corresponding reacts accordingly; for example: knee goes up, elbow goes down. (it's more like Muay Thai than Aikido) - its quite simple P.S: Qi/Chi is BULLSHIT, and I don't blame you for thinking what you do about tai chi because it's full of hippies and frauds (master wongs tai chi is not good, But I like it when he does it ;)))

I think these are just movements that are not useful in MMA. I suggest you master wong to take part in the mma match at least 15 times. if you win all the matches, then you are worthy of teaching
@richcapo
@richcapo 4 жыл бұрын
For me, the test of a movement is whether it will work in the street, which not all moves will, including some moves that work in MMA - that ONLY work in MMA because your opponent can’t mix their conventional tactics with dirty tricks to counter them. (I’ve spoken of these movements countless times by now. Just think of any MMA movement that heightens to vulnerability of your softest spots. Those are the movements of which I speak.) The problem isn’t that Wong provides no evidence that his movements won’t work in MMA, it’s that Wong provides no evidence that his movements will work in the street in my opinion. Can’t he, say, escape an actual full Nelson or parry an actual punch? Can’t he at least counter a real push? I would hope so. Doubt I’ll ever see so, however. He just doesn’t seem to care for doing that.

yash rocky, you are correct about the difference between MMA and the street. But is Wong actually teaching anything here, or is he just playing around and duping people into believing in him? I go with the latter. You?
@richcapo
@richcapo 4 жыл бұрын
Tai Chi Tube, I’m not duping anyone. I’m not attempting to sell people on the pseudoscience of chi balls, I’m not passing off play fighting as self defense instruction, and I’m not trying to lure people to a sales portal. I’m simply pointing out, and explaining why I am pointing out, that Wong pantomimes self defense rather than teaches it in these videos. You yourself have attested that Wong does not execute the techniques he shows online against resistance - I believe you use the term “raw training” to refer to execution against resistance - and I am doing the same. Wong makes “glossy videos,” as you have said, rather than showcases “raw training” online. He does not demonstrate the effectiveness of his techniques, which is very sad - nearly as sad as people buying into his hype in my opinion.
@richcapo
