Yeah I'm really enjoying these, more bands should do them. And they seem simple enough to record, a few days at the studio of members playing and some interviews and you get teh same effect as a documentary.

TranscendingFish I'm not one to suck this bands dick. However I had to open wide for this one.... This album is now in my top 3 Mastodon albums. Yeah show yourself is poppy and kinda the low point for me as well but the rest of the album. Fuck it's good! They brought back the proggy madness I've missed so much and Mastodon does prog so got damn well! I honestly think this album truly has something for everyone.. Not just the hardcore fans but newcomers as well. Something truly special for sure. That's why I had to preorder the LP, CD, and digital formats haha. Very rarely would I do that.. I feel this record should be heard from the fucking moon! Night folks

Maybe nu metal riffs, with an 80's backing riff and/or shred, and you can take the track to a new level with some psychedelic bass fills and effects. it's music man. doesn't have to fit in a box. fuck it

if it reminds you a lot of mastodon there´s a chance you are maybe sounding way much more like them than yourself, you can indeed make it but try to sound like yourself ,we don´t need another mastodon in this world, keep on writing, practicing, and listen to a lot of music hope to see you making it mate
