We lost over 100BHP on the Audi S5 V8 after the walnut blast so now it was time to find the problem and try to gain back the missing power. I also ran into another problem aswell!

Matt, you may be focusing on bhp from the manufacturer which is measured at the crank. Dynos provide horsepower & torque figures to the wheels. You will lose horsepower in the drivetrain especially on an all wheel drive vehicle.

Just continue to be yourself Mat. I've been been watching your videos for almost 2 years now, and it's great to see how far you come. Starting with the TT, and now the S5, which has been a real coup for the channel. The fact that you do care about what's said in your comments is quite endearing in a way. I'm sure you've won a few trolls over. Your personality is a big part of the channel and has worked well for you so no need to change a thing. Wishing you plenty more success for 2020 and beyond.

Most Audi number plate lights have brass tabs connecting the unit to the car & they corrode on older ones making am intermittent contact. Also screws are usually seized on old units & shear off when changing

I have been following this build from the first video where you snagged the Audi... I honestly don't even know how it popped into my feed to be honest. Need a matching boot stripe or go black on the bonnet to match the top of the car. But the stripes do add at least 5bhp lol. Can't wait to see what new coil packs do for the car. Another great video. Keep up the good work, Mat. 👍

Loving the new stripe......it s a good contrast with the body colour. Will you do the boot as well? I had a similar coil pack problem with my Cayenne turbo. Its best to replace all of them at the same time, to avoid rough idling, cutting out, power loss etc.

Do a full scan and check motor mounts, the 4.2 has hydraulic motor mounts with resistors that when they go bad the fluid leaks out and they detect too much vibration in high rpms and pull power from the fuel system, causing random misfires on cylinders . Just dealt with it on mine
