This bus desperately needed some TLC! - At 53 years old this old timer needed a makeover. This is my second London bus makeover, the first one had no interior seats. The seats turned out to be quite challenging as they were heavily covered in green paint. To my amazement this model turned out close to looking factory fresh, and I am glad that I rose to the challenge!

Its nearly 2.30 in the morning here in England and I've spent the last 20 minutes watching a man painting an old matchbox bus...But for some reason found it very enjoyable

I not only watch this series for the fascinating makeover processes, but also the gentle yet wickedly funny humour that comes through every so often. The 'fingers' in the vice followed by the picture of two 'bandaged' fingers had me hooting with laughter. Thank you. Simply brilliant! 🤣

I had a bus like that., but now I realize that my daddy repainted it with spare paint from his beige Mercedes 200. I am a 54 year old Dutch woman and I take pleasure in your videos. I love to see the Matchbox cars that I used to play with.

Can't believe Marty missed that bent window pillar in the front. That was one of the first things I noticed at the start of the video. Really turned out nice otherwise.

Yet another superbly executed revamp of an old model. Some people wonder why anyone would spend so much time and effort on these little models but, for what they are they're quite nicely detailed.

So many comments in such a short period of time, but Marty deserves every bit of the praise for his remarkable makeovers with such great attention to detail. I hope it was as fun for him to do this work as it was for me to watch it. (I also have several of these buses in my collection that I bought when new over 50 years ago.)
