Thoughts below: I gotta hand it to Ricardo. He put in a much better performance than I expected. But when Humphries is that good, you gotta tip your hat. I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t win this tournament. But I’ve been wrong before. In any case, what a start to the Matchplay.

The longer the format the harder it is to beat Humphries. It's a broken record but I genuinely believe Littler is the only one who can touch him. Rob Cross maybe aswell because his rhythm is perfect foiler to Humphries. Ricardo averaged near 104 and he got dog walked. Humphries will win imo

Price didn't win the 5th leg - he was on 130 and hit two treble 20s and should have been on double 5 - he thought he scored treble 20 then single 20 to finish on the bull - a mistake and the ref should have spotted it...!
