Jones is solid, only thing i see is when he punches he leans in a little to much and leans his face forward. Could get timed and rocked if he don't clean that up. Overall A- performance

Exceptional? The kid was eating jabs and backhands because he didn't raise his shoulder in his Philly shell to deflect it. He engages with no jab and drops his lead hand to throw the backhand. Those aren't minor defensive issues, they're glaring.

I thought he got hit more than he should as well. To his defense maybe he had no fear of Madera's power since he sparred with him before. He certainly took the hits well if that's not the case but he seems to have enough boxing IQ to avoid most power punches.
