Nikita has a lot of work to do. He's been living on talent. Balance. Too far over his front foot. Footwork. Doesn't give him self angles to offense and stay out of the opponents power. Leaning into vulnerable positions. Fighters with real craft will beat him down.
@danielcadwell98122 жыл бұрын
He doesn't set up his shots either.
@drewfife51692 жыл бұрын
@@danielcadwell9812 That's a craft level thing that if a fighter really wants to be great he has to learn. A good trainer and an apt and willing pupil can hone this skiill. Watching fighters who are good at this, being a student of the game helps immensely. But none of these things will ever happen if the fighter thinks he knows it all because he can knock some one out. We'll see where this lad lands in a year or two. I have a feeling they need to throw him in with some one good enough to clean his clock so he can learn that lesson.

Great fight for Nakita. I was critical of him in the past but he has done his homework. His boxing impressed me. He always had the power but now he has a beautiful rythem in his combinations. Nikita is talented but overemphasis on maximizing those explosive powershots wears him down the longer a fight goes, I don't care how much cardio you have, it takes a huge toll on the gastank and it's very noticeable whenever his fights go the length.
