GUYS Please understand this is just a torque test, no you shouldn’t buy this impact to remove lug nuts with on a semi truck !! This is just to see if it will do the advertised 600 ft lbs that it claims to do. Use some common sense and know this is just to TEST the impact without us building some kind of elaborate testing rig and having to put it in a vise. This was a quick way to do a test that can be torqued safely to the maximum amount the impact can do. And YES THERE WILL BE TORQUE LOSS BECAUSE OF THE ADAPTER, we know this !

@@KoonTrucking I think you and Chris are talking about 2 different Milwaukee's,I believe he's talking about the m18 mid-torque 450 ft.lbs and you're talking about the regular m18 brushless 3/8 impact wrench 210 ft.lbs.

That is an excellent attitude and that usually translates to an excellent salesman. I’m sure the guys on your route truly appreciate that because (and I have said this many times) people that buy from tool trucks are buying from the guy because they are investing in the dealer (all tools break and wear out after time) but the dealer is what makes tool truck tools valuable. Not the tool itself it’s the man that stands behind it.

I did not buy it, I kept it for a good while and used it to give feedback on it. It’s a strong impact but for me it was a little too big and was more on the heavy side than I preferred. But to each their own what they like in impacts. I’m not a fan of the Milwaukee full size 3/8” either I still prefer the Snap On CT761 for its size to power to weight ratio. If I’m going to use an impact that is the same size as an air impact and heavier than air, me personally I rather have an air impact. It’s always lighter, stronger and no batteries to die or have to replace.

This was impressive. But my question would like be " If the 3/8" impact can remove a 33mm lug nut thats torque to 600 ft/lbs, why then would I need a 1" impact wrench for removing the truck tire? I mean thats asking a lot on a 3/8 drive impact. And to be honest I really doubt that I would use it on some thing that heavy. Your asking alot on that anvil to hold up under that extreme work like that. Like I say I'm impressed with it but I seriously doubt I'd want it to do something like that. Oh, I know that it was just testing, but it just beggs the question of why would you need a 3/8 drive impact that strong. That's what I was asking. Clay, I've always liked your videos and the test of some of the claims made by these tool manufacturers on their different tools they offer. And like I say thanks for sharing....
