Today we take a look at Europa Worldwide Group, 2, Prologis Park Midpoint, Midpoint Way, Minworth, Sutton Coldfield B76 9EH.
We are impressed by the extra measures being taken to stop a trailer being moved and whilst we are looking at this we are spoken to by security.
Once we return back to public land, we fly the drone and are spoken to by a few people from higher up in the company.

In all fairness DJ, some of these security guards need to think about how their actions and comments might affect you, and other members of the public who might not be so mentally robust as you. Also, the integrity of this particular interaction would actually make people question how safe these premises are. And indeed might encourage those who have a dark agenda when visiting this site.

He isn’t REQUIRED to speak to anyone. He’s a security guard. Anyone suspicious, he doesn’t have to be polite or courteous. He isn’t expecting to ever speak to anyone and if he is, he’s well within his job spec to be hostile

@@zazashahshahshah my daughter and wife are HGV drivers and often go to deliver or pick up from a company, first point of contact is a security gate with staff. Had he spoke to either of my two like that they'd reverse the lorries up and company would not get the goods or pick up and a complaint would go in. Believe me first point of contact if everything they represent the company be it hired security or employee. Politeness is everything

@@laceandwhisky that’s a different story. The gentleman that has uploaded this is LOOKING to aggravate him. He isn’t there to deliver anything. Just to prove a point that he “can be there.” Security guy is doing his job perfectly. Uploader is suspiciously hanging around the area. There’s no requirement for him to be polite. Being polite by the second gentleman led to this KZfaq person being on the premises longer than necessary, engaged in a conversation longer than necessary (he didn’t leave, but continued to be a nuisance) and thus takes away from the security guy’s focus and what he is employed to do.

because the bays Don't have a traffic light system on the bays. The blocks are there to stop the shunter or driver pulling the trailer of the bay while someone is the inside.

I am originally from Ireland now based in UK and was in the Security Industry for almost 35yrs (including managerial posts and owning my own company, I am now a retired Security Consultant) in Ireland during the worst of 'The War' known as 'The Troubles' from 1969 til 1998 and never have I seen such a panicky reaction to a man with a camera asking polite, questions, I have noticed that in many of your vids, what way are these men and women being trained,? I woulda sacked the lot of them, especially calling for backup, or their manager and even worse the Police don't they think the Girls and Boys in Blue have more important things to do. What a bunch of Wallies. Anyway DJ keep on exposing this stupidity, and of course when they are professional and do their jobs professionally. Love your work DJ. 😅🤣😂

Great Audit.8/10 and should have been a 10 all round. Security needs more training on how to speak to people and should perhaps take lessons from the second person. Guys that turned up were a bit hostile to start but soon turned very professional so well done them.

Nothing beats experience. Im sure security will behave more professionally in future if he listened to the site manager, who was a credit to his firm. ...interesting the effect a camera has...im certain they wouldn't approach a jogger & ask them what they are doing jogging past Europa. Hiya DJ! You asked us what we thought about the first security man you spoke to! Well! What can i say!!! The manager was spot on, but the younger security guard, did not have a clue how to interact with the public. I think he needs to have some extensive PR training, otherwise he will not get very far in his job or in life in general! During his lifetime, he will no doubt come across situations in which he needs to have some negotiation skills. At the moment he has none! He was rude and arrogant and he is not a good role model for his company! ...... Now! In total contrast, we have the two smashing gentlemen whom you were speaking to and the driver of the HGV who was also one of your fans! He was so happy to receive one of your key rings, bless him! ... Incidentally, i did notice the rude one from earlier was lurking in the background, while you were happily chatting to the two gentlemen! LoL! Anyway, keep up the good work, DJ! xxx

The yellow blocks in front of the trailers are there to stop tractor units from backing up/preventing them hooking the trailer up, these are normally used when the trailer is being loaded, in case a driver misreads the trailer and attempts to take the wrong one, as these trailers could contain workers or forklifts, it could cause some injury etc, the company I used to work for used them, as a foreign driver had done the exact thing I had just said might go wrong, luckily though there was no workers inside at the time. 3:28 you mention you did not see the security guards SIA licence at 2:08 he has it in his hand, where he had picked it up from the counter facing away from the road, when you was at the window talking to him, while he was calling for back up

When you put yourself in the shoes of that initial security guy, seeing some random bloke rocking up with a camera anyone would think "nutter" and try your best to get shot of him. Its once you're off their perceived boundary they need educating over.

Jeez DJ, it looked like your presence at the security hut nearly gave that lad a heart attack. Don't think he'd be too good in an emergency, unless the emergency is to keep McDonalds open. In all fairness if he had a medical emergency, would he be able to do CPR for even 4 minutes? I would hope so but very much doubt it. I would hope there is some fitness to work test for such occasions and if first aid is part of the SIA licencing.

its a parcel sorting hub. i live down the road from there and it operates 24hrs a day. those blocks are so no unit can hook up if the blocks are moved then the driver can hook up its all H/S
