When you watch this, it really brings home how hard it is to win the cup. Especially when you've come through having defeated the Penguins and Bruins - always high level and difficult playoff opponents. Then no reward following that - no wonder it's gutting. I feel for them - I really do.

@@oscarmurillo4067 their fans ego is so annoying to deal with. Like there were accounts saying they were gonna sweep MTL, meanwhile they only won 2 games against them.

Don't worry guys you be back again more experienced and a better team

The only team in the league to NOT give up a short handed goal and that was the difference.

They were good enough to win the whole thing. Can totally see why they are so deflated.

This has more weight too it then Toronto cause the Islanders actually all played good Toronto half the team didn’t show up. Plus it sucks being one game away and can’t close it out

Why do we need to know how they feel? Just to rub it in? Leave them alone
@marcinwoznica56683 жыл бұрын
They have to be proud of what they accomplished. I understand it stings but the islanders are an unbelievable team. Especially compared to a few years ago. This game could of gone either way. Just a matter of how the puck bounces when you get to this point.

@KingMastodon you don’t luck your way back to back years in the final 4 chief that says something
@quanger64963 жыл бұрын
Just let these guys chill for a bit and interview them a few days later! You’ll get better answers if their not crying, and no one is gonna die if they wait a couple days.

To New York Islanders fans, as a Leafs fan I hate you but I don't hate your team and I wish you could have beat the Lightning. Yeah it would have stung a little if you guys made the finals then rub it in to JT but I would be fine if you beat the Lightning so that it's guaranteed new Stanley Cup Champ. My only nice thing to say to Islanders fans.
