A closer look at how the Mathews Engineering AeroCreeper automatic height control works. This height control has a 2-stage mechanism and can lift a 250 lb. mechanic all the way from the ground to sitting position.

This is a really slick setup. I gotta say, I think the mechanism is nicer than the one on AeroCreeper’s new motorized version, because yours starts the head coming up at that nice slow speed.

What force jack screw did you use for this project? You mentioned it being able to lift a 250lb occupant.

Tom, this is an awesome idea! I would like to purchase the components needed for this if you would be so kind as to share for my husband. If you sell kits with instructions, I’m all in. Theresa

There is no kit--this is a one-up project that I made for myself. There are companies that make this kind of powered lift but with prices that only corporate customers can stomach.

Is there any way to contact you? Would you be interested in being payed to build me one? I'm disabled, this looks like an excellent way o get up and down off the floor when playing under my model train table.

This is only a one-up item that I made on a lark. There are companies that make this kind of lift for professional aero-mechanics but, alas, these things sell at a price that only a corporate buyer can stomach. Thanks for asking.

Hello Tom this is a awesome idea I need to build one my back is hurting ,so are the first stage brackets available or did you make them also ? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

Yeah, I made all this stuff but I have a 1500 Watt laser center so that really helped.

So basically if Murphy shows up this lift pushes your face into the plane...😂

This has never happened and the motor isn't strong enough to press that hard. There is also a power-off switch next to the operators right hand.

What is the kit you purchased called? Is this all custom? What is your website? I really want to purchase this kit I haven’t found anything like it anywhere. You provided no links to any of the products you bought. I think you could make some good money with doing this. I haven’t found anything like it at least not for under 15,000 dollars (human hoist)

You are correct. The companies that make this kind of lift sell these at a price that only corporate buyers can stomach. I just made one of these for myself so, alas, there is no kit.

Tom can you sell me the bracket kits and give me the specification on the strut

This was only a one-time thing and I have no kit to offer. Even with a kit it is quite a project so a kit probably wouldn't go over too well. There are companies that make powered lifts but, yikes, their prices are high.
