I know, it was adorable. It’s nice to see a video of Mara having fun while filming Matilda since she was dealing with some pretty tough things in her personal life at the time. Her mother was actually dying of cancer while Matilda was in production. She, also, had a lot of anxiety as a kid and was quite sensitive. Filming Matilda must have been a nice distraction for her in a way. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I like of how the special effects are so well integrated that you really believe them. It seems that special effects now a days just aren't believeable as they were in the late 90's/early 2000's.

@Samara Dantas Yeah cgi is definitely overused now and absolutely does not compare to true special effects
@octogonSmuggler3 жыл бұрын
That's because they're all really there. There's actually props to interact with. Compare the Lord of the Rings movies with the Hobbit movies for example. The Lord of the Rings movies have real props. Real things for the actors to touch and interact with. In The Hobbit, a lot of things are not actually there so it's awkward and fake. Both were made by the same people with several of the same actors. However, there is a huge gap in quality because of the CGI.

There's such a dark side to children's TV. Nickelodeon seems to have a lot of dark secrets in particular. But if you want proof how this movie was not that, just look at the interviews with the cast. They all came back for the reunion a few years back and had nothing but good things to say and just watching this shows how happy they were.
