I'm not surprised at all to see Black Honey on this list! I've been wearing it for over 25 years now, starting back when I was still young enough to get Seventeen magazine and they had it listed as a "color that looked good on everyone." They were right! It has been a staple in my stocking every Christmas that I've been married.

Matilda the natural look sadly isn’t one favored by the majority of youtube beauty gurus. And don’t get me wrong I love a good cut crease with the rest of them. But I absolutely have a soft spot for minimalist makeup. There’s definitely an art to it. I only wish that we can see how these lovely sheer products look on you one day!

I absolutely love the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick. It's balmy, shiny, and sheer and they have some gorgeous colours. After the shine dies down, you get a beautiful blurry stain that looks amazing.

After your constant and glowing reviews, I bought two of the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Colours. I cannot emphasise how gorgeous these are!! I love vampy dark purples and classic bright reds, so the concept of a sheer lipstick is very new to me. But their shades in Blackberry and Telluride... it was like a match made in heaven. Still the dark matte wash of colour that I like, but with a balmy texture. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to a new type of makeup that I had never even considered until now.

love the revlon kissable balm stains. love the fresh minty feeling on the lips and they give a nice, sheer touch of colour. I have cherish, a lilac-toned pink, and crush, a deep raspberry shade.

You knocked it out of the park with that one! These are all so good, and as a makeup junkie - particularly “sheer wash of color” 😊 - I’ve tried a lot of these, but in different shades. I tend to go for rosy tones.

Last summer I was lucky enough to take a trip to Italy with my family. While in Florence we stumbled upon a makeup store. I’d never heard of Kiko Milano but there it was so, we went for it! And my mom and I REALLY went for it. Our favorite buys of all our trip were definitely two sheer balms named Coloured Balms. The first, number 9 Rasberry, is a bright red with a touch of orange, and really livens up the face effortlessly and gives you a very happy and youthful look. Number 6 Blackberry is a moody, cool-toned purple pink. It’s my favorite. It’s very light but somehow a bit deep and it’s complex as well... I‘m a sucker for cool-toned shades that are formulated correctly without being straight up blue so I love Blackberry so much. I have too large of a lipstick collection and Kiko Milano definitely contributed 😂.

Love the video. Have my eye on Kosas for a while so I'll need to give it a try. Also, I love Audible. Just finished Becoming and I do recommend it but my favorite Audible listen is Great Courses history classes. The one on the French Revolution is amazing.

congrats on your sponsorship and great job seamlessly integrating the audible shout-out - i sometimes find sponsorship portions of videos to be out-of-place but yours fit right in. i'm definitely interested in trying the ilia lip conditioner, and also lipstick queen! i have (and love) the chanel lip balm in deep, but my favorite favorite sheer lip of all time is dior lipglow in 007 raspberry. it's the perfect shade for me.

Thanks KZfaq for recommending such a nice video. Matilda, this is just what I wanted to see. Before the mask mandates, this was becoming my favorite type of lip product. I didn't see drug store options. The ones I am loving are Loreal Color Riche Shine and Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine lipsticks. Both provide a beautiful sheer wash of color and are moisturizing. 🙂

Once again a truly enjoyable and visually pleasing video; I especially love to see your kitty as she plays with your earphones. My favourite lipstick formulas are also sheer products and tinted balms. With matururing skin, my lips need some lip liner when I wear regular lipsticks. The sheer formulas and tinted balms are perfect and my lips stay hydrated. I've also been using Laneige lip sleeping mask and it helps with the fine lines.

my go-to favorites: chanel les beiges in deep, clinique in super strawberry, yves saint laurent volupte tint-in-balm in 6 touch me red, and the ENTIRE range of canmake stay-on balm rouge.

Congratulations for the Audible sponsorship-I’ve used Audible for two years now and love it (currently listening to Magpie Murders)! For a drugstore recommendation, might I suggest the L’Oréal colour riche shine lipsticks. I wouldn’t really call them a balm since they aren’t nourishing at all but they apply a beautiful sheer wash of color with a high shine finish! My most worn shade is 904 Varnished Rosewood but I also love 928 Gleaming Plum for an evening color.

No7 Sheer Temptation is a go to for me. I like the ones with a bit of glitter if I’m not wearing any other make up! They fade fairly quickly but evenly over time (I don’t like staining) and they’re so balmy I love reapplying them! Great drugstore option.

My favourite is the Nivea lip balms - especially Cherry Shine. It's the only lip balm I have consistently panned and have a back up of. I think that colour and formula might be right up your alley!

I love sheer, glossy lippies almost as much as your Beautiful channel 🌻☀️ ...And am not surprised, that you show us interesting audio books, because of you always sound not only chic and beautiful, but interesting too. Beautiful inside and out 😘. My faves are Laura Mercier Lip Parfait in Amaretto Swirl & Loreal Color Riche Shine in Nectarine Plump. And love Chantecaille Lip Chics too, and esp. Chantecaille Lip Veils! My current fave Lip Veils are Honey Pot and Frangipane. Their weightless, yet pigmented & hydrating formula is perfection 💋 And your cat is just adorable 😻 What was her/his name again?

i finally bought Bobbi Brown crushed lips color and I totally love it. Balmy, comfortable, and wearable. I actually wanted to get Cranberry but not available in my country yet so I choose shade 'Babe'. And rn, i'm thinking to get that beautiful Burberry balm. Thankyou so much for the recommendation!
