Good to hear Shane talk about Santino being the Dawg. I got into comedy podcasting through Bad Friends clips, seen Bad Friends live and went to the same college as Santino. He said the C word in episode 98. He said it in the context of a bit where he was impersonating a racist white guy from the 1930s. He said he was just trying to say something that a racist white guy from that era would say, but it was done as an impression, not in his own voice. That didn’t matter to the Social Justice Warriors though. Shane later said he wanted to defend that bit bc it was taken out of context, but decided not to bother because he knew if he defended it, they’d dig deeper, find something else, and make it even worse. So he just had to take it.
