I just thought of a great intro to another “Vets survive the zombie apocalypse” video, Mat is getting the crew together and he remembers someone to call. “Hey I know a vet we can call...” Cut to Demo ranch Matt stepping out of his truck in his veterinarian operating clothes and when he walks up to weird looks from everyone else in their killin gear he says “What? You said to show up ready to operate...” Then he pulls out his nut cutting tools, after he realizes it’s the other type of operating he says “oh, I keep a small survival kit in my truck.” Then a cut again to him walking away from the truck in full killin gear, NODs and one of his .50s. That’s about all I got but I think it’d make a pretty funny intro.

I have always loved Matt Carriker. He has always been an absolute sweetheart and a genuinely wonderful human being. Nothing but love for him and his family. I had no idea this podcast even existed. I guess the algorithm suggested it because I'm subbed to his channels. So you have earned a new sub because of his presence! I hope you have him on again. Loved this podcast. Looking forward to what you have in the future. You guys are awesome!!

I saw it on an off the ranch video but I don't think this was uploaded when he did his and then I forgot about it and I just watched the today's demo ranch and this was the 1st in the up next list and I was like damn I totally forgot. I'm planning on checking out a few more of the podcasts, this was the 1st one I watched. I usually start watching other youtubers from a collab that was done with someone else, like I started watching demo ranch bc of lunkerstv

It’s funny how life works, about a week or two ago I was watching a a Demo Ranch video and a thought popped into my head: “I wonder if Matt is ever gonna do a video with Mat Best again?” Then a couple days later he dropped the video were he drove over to record this.

No overhead emergency egress cables on the 18. You have to engage the egress handle at elbow level before pulling the crotch cable. Lost a pilot back in '04 that had his cable pinned under an extra pad of foam for a long pump from the Netherlands.

37:15 uhhhh, Jarred, a Clydesdale's horseshoe weighs about 5 pounds, and that's a big ass working horse. There isn't a single horse that's going to have a 28-35 POUND shoe, and horses can swim.

Matt asked the perfect question right off the bat about working on injured animals... Im a 20+ year Paramedic/Former FF etc. and I dont flinch at messed up people but if I see an animal hurt (God help anyone I see abuse or mistreat an animal) I loose my shit. Hats off to Vetrinarians... I can't do that shit but I'm glad youre there to help my animals. Love the podcast lads. Best to you all.

The funniest thing to come out of this was that there was a time when KZfaqrs thought collaborations weren't a good thing. Almost all the channels I regularly watch came from finding one channel, then seeing others collaborating and seeing who they worked with. KZfaq's algorithms are terrible, but seeing someone hang out and work with cool people helps viewers find new cool channels to watch.

As one of those (inactive, not former.
