Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is doing the best they can during this. Starting week three of the lock down with As Wicked off 1995s And Out Come The Wolves. Yes I’m wearing a Black Derby Jacket because it was cold this morning is the Bass bunker. Stay safe. - Matt

Rancid has been a big inspiration for me since I was a teenager (20ish years ago). They made/make great music, they're talented, and they just seem like genuine cool dudes who love the music they play, and music in general.

Elian gonzalez and the coast guards+ My vote is that he's not smiling, his hand is cramping up and it fuckin hurts, so he's thinking "What the fuck was I doing when I wrote the bass for this song! Damn you, 29 year old me, you're a dick!"

This is great! Matt your the man. These songs always bring a tear to my eyes. Your basslines were the first songs i ever learned, and seeing you doing this takes me right back to my teenage bedroom, cheapest pawn shop bass i could find,no amp, headstock touching the wall for " volume", ear pressed into a speaker trying to figure out certain parts, and feeling like king ding-a-ling when i finally got it. Roots radicals, daly city train, timebomb, Olympia wa., basically everything on ...and out come the wolves. These were the first songs that i ever wanted to learn enough to sit up all night learning. Thanks.
