This bass line will be around for hundreds of years. That's how badass it is.

I'm sure no one gives a squirt of piss, but this song has a special place in my heart. My brother and I (that's us pictured in my profile) were on a long distance trip from Michigan to West Virginia driving non-stop to see our Grandma one last time before she passed. It was well into the middle of the night and we were on a long stretch of the Ohio turnpike and this one come on. I was driving and turned my head to see if he had been able to get any sleep. He was awake and we locked eyes, we didn't have to say a word. We both knew we were on a journey to the end together. To this day I can't listen to this tune without a tear in my eye.

And out come the wolves, is my go to album. I can still listen to it all the way though. At 40 years old.

The insane ease of just moving your whole hand, when I felt like my fingers were flying everywhere when I first learnt this 😂 It just shows the importance of fingering, just getting used to the string positions and getting used to using all your fingers. Though I don’t play bass right now as I had to sell my sweet 2006 limited edition Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray, I seriously appreciate you!
