I listened to this song the whole week my dad was in the hospital, and for the next month after he passed, it’s a beautiful song. Ut I can’t listen to it without thinking back to then. But it sounds great

I realize the shift in the music vibe went from angst and tortured (Who Killed Matt Maeson), to haunting to folksy and still angst (both the Hearse and Bank on the Funeral), to the unique melancholy sound of USERx, to the reflecting of pain, faith, and hope in Never Had to Leave
