I know it's been rushed up until now and we have hometowns next week, and so I almost wish we could have 3 straight weeks after hometowns where he didn't eliminate ANYONE!! Where we could see him and Michelle, and him and Raechel, and him and either Bri or Serena P just exist and get to know each other with ZERO drama! That would be so refreshing!

I found it PAINFULLY ironic that ABC aired a commercial during Bachelor that said “ABC supports and celebrates black history month. It’s not just one month, it’s all year.” Hmmmm, then maybe fire your racist host? 🤔 Just a thought.

I find it so odd that you guys have seen Pieper as so positive and relaxed the whole season. I have felt the complete opposite from her from the beginning. To me, she always seemed completely miserable and like she had a massive chip on her shoulder. She could be a lovely girl, but I certainly didn’t feel drawn to her presence at any point.

I agree piper is very miserable. I think there are issues she has and I think bringing in such a diverse cast you see exactly how women are with each other because now there are social hierarchies at play. It’s interesting to me that Matt’s season has had the most vicious girls of all time.

Wow, I feel oppositely, that she presents generally very maturely and grounded. She was having a moment where the show's intentional curveballs got to her and that showed in her tone, but she waa not cruel, gaslighty, name-calling, rumor-spreading, tiara-yanking like those in her cohort she stood up against.

It’s pretty obvious he’s picking Rachael, and I’m sitting over here so uncomfortable with the irony of it all. The first black bachelor and the most women of color ever cast on the show, and this poor guy is going to wind up with the kinda racist, white southern belle. I actually feel so bad for him. He obviously knew none of this during filming, and he said in episode one that he’s so afraid to disappoint people with his choice in the end. This is the thing nightmares are made of.

Nick Viall said on his season Kristina Schulman didn't get one on one since she already told her heartbreaking storyline before getting one. Nick tried to tell her to hold off the conversation. In episode where Abigail tells about her future kids potentially being deaf, Nick said she may not get a one on one now. Its silly but Matt definitely wasn't into her.

Wells was just someone who popped into my head, but there are plenty of women who could definitely do the job just as well, if not better. I don't think Rachel Lindsay will want to do it (nor should she want to), which makes me feel like Becca K may not want to either due to their podcast? Tayshia could be a good fit like Bekah and Jess were saying. Who knows what direction they will take, I just hope we've seen the last of Chris.

Besides she has 3 other jobs that have nothing to do with the franchise (Ghosted: love gone missing, Higher Learning and Extra) and one of those is full-time so she really doesn’t need BHH.

Bachelor cruises is actually what inspired Bachelor Pad, they did like a 10 minute bit on an old AFTR and there were so many hookups they decided to do a show with the old contestants and it became Bachelor Pad and then Paradise.

Yeah I completely thought I missed something because there was no day portion of the group date. I thought I zoned out or something. The editing this season is all over the place and messy. Also, I think it's apparent that he picks Rachael because why else would they go to these lengths for her? He talks to her differently & validates everything she says. I WISH he would be pick Michelle but at this point...I think she deserves better than matt.

Bekah! Best rant ever. I was alone clapping and nodding with you. My new idea is why doesnt CH donate his salary for this season (being historic and all). Where is he SHOWING atonement. Would that settle it? No. But it would be a start. Nope. 8 million a year on the show/ his “man bands” ??/ his wine spritzers. And lest we forget his gross book and $500/ per cameo. HE IS FINE. He will survive. He needs to be gone from the franchise though.

No, Kendal wasn't the first one. Corinne went to hometown with Nick never having had a one on one. I remember because Sharleen Joynt wrote in her blog how flabbergasted she was about that fact.
