Comparing getting into the NBA to getting hooked up at some common job is comical. These are the best of the best in their fields in the world with a very limited number of positions available for it. Thats like saying some common dudes dad getting him a job as a brain surgeon when hes only qualified skill is to be a nurse.

Matt this is your worst take you ever made! Your comparisons to people using their connections to get a jobs is no where near the same thing as using his dad to get him a friggin nba roster spot! There are only 300 nba players who get nba roster spots! Only 60 hardworking kids each year get drafted! He is taking dreams away from other young men who deserve it! NBA is the elite of the elite! What you are saying some dude who barely graduated from medical school could get a job as a heart surgeon above a bunch of doctors that deserve it all bc their dad is the head of all the heart surgeon! Such a terrible not well thought out video! And you say he’s a 3 and D guy? He played mediocre defense in college, he shot terribly from the field open or not, and he is way, way, way undersized for a mediocre athlete that doesn’t do anything great! Cmon man

You know what? What if this young man is a hidden gem? Yes, he has a health scare, but if he gets to the NBA and develops correctly…then what? If I was Bronny, I would’ve taken the chance too!!! I know two people in the NBA now and what they both told me was…if you have a chance to get in the NBA, take the opportunity when it comes available, because you may not get another chance. I think he’s gonna be just fine going to the NBA in my personal opinion.

The difference here with nepotism is that you can be trained to be good at that job. In the NBA you either got it or you don’t . The media hypes up bronny to be worthy of a draft pick based on his skills not his dad. Reality of it is bronny in any other circumstance wouldn’t even be worthy of a summer league spot yet people act like bronny is a first round pick

let’s call a spade a spade here. Bronny is not an nba caliber player. He has good vision, defense, and decent spot up shooting. But if that didn’t even translate at the college level it would be foolish to think he would be anything besides a bench player/ g leaguer in this league. He realistically should have went back to school proved everybody wrong and get drafted high. Rn his career projection is David Stockton or Scottie pippen jr. Which means G league for most of his career and probably out of the league in 5-7 years. Sad stuff.

I'm just glad the doctors cleared him to play. After that incredibly scary incident where he almost died on the court, I was worried that he'd never be able to touch a basketball again because of doctors' orders. Everything else seems secondary. And after what happened to Hank Gathers and Reggie Lewis, you *know* this panel of doctors wouldn't have cleared him if there was even a shadow of a doubt about him having another cardiac incident.
