Hopefully you do more Xplane videos. Or KZfaq videos for the matter. I just subscribed because you do a great job with your videos. Its definitely a lot of work, but a lot of us appreciate what you do. As for what you mentioned about Ortho4XP. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get Ortho. A 5-10TB would be sufficient to do the world. Not 60TB as you mentioned in your video. I mean sure you could do LVL18 and you'll easily hit 60TB. But you don't have to do that. You obviously don't have to generate the ocean tiles. The trick to that would be to use LVL15 in remote areas. Big cities/airports I would generate at LVL17. By doing a majority of the world at LVL15, it'll save you a ton a room. And to give an example, I generated most of Canada and the USA at LVL 15 with big cities at LVL 17. This only cost be about 1.5TB! LVL 15 is perfect for high altitude flying. Just something to consider

Going back through this specific flight I must again say I love how crisp and clear PilotEdge sounds. The Air Traffic Controllers seem to be much nicer and more patient with pilots, too!

It's a thumbs up for me!... At the end of the day Matt it's the first officers job to secure the gear on positive climb. I heard you call gear up and perhaps it was a misplaced click spot? FS 2 crew might have solved it but obviously not available in x-plane! Loved the scenery and the Better pushback 'awesome' it's a pity some of these platforms are great in some areas and fall down on others. Just about to move into P3D v 4 with a new high end PC from a well known source that has your name on some! For years I've stuck to FS2004 and been in total awe with the many videos you have produced. Thanks to you that I now have a very exciting time ahead with all sorts of goodies from orbx, GSX, PMDG, pedals, Yokes etc. Sorry to have missed you at Cosford for a chat...

Your gear lever was up on the ground so when you pressed the button when you took off, it brought the lever down not up

There is an add on if you want to get rid of the default tug. Only downside is that it doesn’t remove the lights at night.

The FF767 dates from XP10 when the sim didn't have FMOD. They are working on a refresh of the 757/767 for XP11 so we can probably expect better sounds.

Xplane is the best sim out there! just need the addon developers to move over more. the 767 is a great plane

Hey matt there is a plugin on the x-plane.org forums that makes the default pushback trucks invisible, very useful when using something like better-pushback and you don't want the default tug in the way.

Reminds me of the time I was pushing back out of SFO (with ATC online) and I forgot to deselect External Power and it shut down my plane. Me: "SFO Ground, United 420 (forgot what flight # I was), We're Gonna Have to Stop On The Taxiway For Just A Couple Minutes" "United 420 that's approved, call when you're ready for taxi" (10 minutes later) "United 420 are you ever gonna taxi?"

You should look into the Forkboys US Ortho. Easy way to get whole states worth of ortho at a time. And it REALLY improves the looks. Also Great to see a vid from you.

I noticed the comm channels are coming through much crisper and clearer than, say, FSX.

Matt, the difference in flight times you see between flightaware and PFPX is due the fact of the difference in aircraft. The 767 is faster than the CRJ7 so it would be normal to see a shorter flight time. What gets me is the time for taxi LOL..

XEnviro came up with a new update for XPlane 11 with 4k textures and it really does look amazing if you haven't updated

Matt just FYI no one has orthos for the whole world. Most people just have a couple of TBs for where they fly the most. Forkboy2 has some nice packages on the org you can check out for several regions of the us. One or two HDDs is all you need.

Not the best, but pretty good. Just little advice, it hurts eyes when you move camera from cockpit to cabin! Keep flying! You are one of the best.
