It's one of the most strangely distributed lines I've collected so far haha. Like, they either peg warm or are here for a second and then gone forever. But it is quite the monster! Impressive as hell in person.

It's actually GiganOtosaurus. Giga-Noto-Saurus, which translates to Giant-Southern Wind-Lizard.

Well I'll be damned you're right! How did I never catch that lol. I think ever since I saw the name years ago it stuck in my head like that. Then that recent show Gigantosaurus that my son used to watch just reinforced it. Thank you for wising me up to that! Now that I've realized that it's gonna be hard to watch this one back haha.

@@TyrannosaurusMoth Yahahha, sorry! It's a common mistake- I even have books that list Giganotosaurus as Gigantosaurus. But Gigantosaurus is actually a name already in use for a dinosaur! It was a sauropod dinosaur from England, only known from a handful of bones.

@@Dilopho Absolutely no worries, my friend! I genuinely appreciate the correction. And I can definitely see how common it could be, no doubt adding to my own confusion. You mentioning the sauropod totally rings a bell for me so I had to have been aware of that at some point. Additionally, knowing the actual meaning of Giganotosaurus makes the name even more brilliant.

Is the Hammond collection more geared for collectors? I don’t know a lot about JP figs. Your videos are awesome

I would say it definitely is. Mattel is pretty good at skirting that middle ground where their collector lines are also good for kids at the same time and Hammond Collection is probably the best example of that. The human figures are basically the same as the Legacy Collection (which I don't think is still going?) with more accessories. And thank you very much!
