It all starts with the most sophisticated and influential pushers: the family physicians. They prescribe pharmaceuticals for anything and everything when they should be referring to other health care professionals such as: physiotherapists, chiropractors, clinical social workers, psychologists, naturopaths, exercise specialists, nutritionists.

I broke my neck and back and lost two ribs....without pain meds ,tens unit , chiropractor and acupuncture,I wouldn't have any kind of life. I have never once abused my meds , NEVER and thank God for them. What gets me is patients like me suffer because of addicts like this. I am sorry for people that allow these drugs to take over their life but that is definitely on each and every one of them. Yes by all means if money talks and Doctors write ...bust them. But most do not write out prescriptions easily. With everything being on line ,there is no way doctor jumping can be that easy.

He and I walked downstairs together to the cafeteria. Someone at the bar said something stupid, I corrected the guy, Mathew laughed and then told everyone “Don’t look at me, I am a Bruins fan”. I will always LOVE him for staying with me and walking back up with my food. He was really heavy then, he was so charming and sweet. It makes me sad to think that w all of his success and money, that he was really sad! I think everyone liked him but for the 15-20 minutes I was with him, I would be Julie. @HillCountryBluebonnet88

It is an approved treatment for depression that hasn’t responded well to anything else. The ketamine infusion is done in a physicians office and patients have to remain at the office for a specified time period to be observed for any possible complications. It does have a rather short half life and it isn’t something that a patient gets infusions of on a daily basis. Patients aren’t given a prescription to be able to pick up more at CVS. How some researcher determined that a horse tranquilizer helped with depression beats me.

He tried to get clean, went to rehab and when released, checked into a hotel. He ordered (I’m guessing) drugs to his room. He died that very night. I was told he was given a “hot cap”. Meaning a purposely large lethal dose. .. His killer was never investigated or found. So I do believe this story about Mathew. He was most likely the recipient of another “hot cap”. The decrepit pushers probably intended harm at least to another man who relapsed in his recovery attempt. May he RIP

So stop it. As horrible as this is, the only person to blame is Matthew.
