iPhone is gonna have longer software updates for years to come but that and the software are the main selling point. I'd have to go with the zen fone 9 although the 13 mini would be better for me considering my smaller hands, I love that android is more open and free

Andriy it's open and free but no small phones come out of android I wonder whether behemoth Google is at fault for this by not giving support for smaller screens in order to keep eyeballs glued to screens and consumer media instead of having the smartphone be used as a tool

@@florinmoldovanu this could be true since I had a A20e which is about 5.9 inches and anytime I changed the dpi higher than like 470 the bar at the top wouldn’t show but it did on slightly bigger phones like a A20s or even A10, but this is just a observation

@@sleepy_szn basically there is a huge gap in the market between toy phones such as Unihertz, Palm and the like and 5.9 inch phones like the Asus Zenphone. Both Apple and Google are US behemonts that basically control the world market. I might be conspiratorial here but I think media consumption is an important tool in the cultural war and economic expansion. It doesn't make any sense why there is a gap in the smartphone market from 3 to 6 inches that nobody wants to fill for the past 6 years. Apple released the Mini 12 but it charged a ridiculous £700.

Personally more of an Apple fan as I currently own the 13 mini, but its great to know that I can switch to different options now that Apple stopped selling their mini line. I might consider getting an android if apple completley discontinues their mini line in the future

I switched from my 11 pro max to the 13 mini and I’m in love. I got tired of have the heavy big big phones and I realized I like ‘‘em small 😮‍💨😏 the only thing I don’t like is the battery

Hey have you taken raw photos with the phones? (The iphone using some third party app) Have you tested the slowest shutter speed you could get without shake thanks to stabilization in the main cameras?? I want a small phone with a good camera and I'm torn between the zenfone9 and iphone 13 mini. I don't care about jpeg quality but I really want a good raw main camera

I have the Zen9. In my opinion this is a very good camera. With hyper-steady mode I'm able to make clear photos with shutter speed with 2-4 second by hand! This makes night to day (without night mode). The only drawback is the zoom, just 2x optical. Sorry I have no data about iphone.

Looks like the price on the Zenfone 9 is starting to drop a little, which is good to see. It's definitely the phone I'd pick. I think it looks like a great phone overall. Not crazy about the smaller size, but a phone with a headphone jack is tempting to buy because they are so hard to find on the flagship level.

Can't remember the price on Ebay when this was posted. KZfaq gave me no notification of your question and I just got it today. The regular price is $799, but there were and still are deals of $699 on Ebay and Aliexpress. Newegg has it on sale for $678.99.

Regular size phone is small on Adroid (due to lack of proper smaller phones). Besides that, Zenfone has everything. I will buy it an Iphone but i'm not into IOS ecosystem and in terms of usage, gestures, notifications, proper multitasking. I prefer Android.

Both android and apple might not be too keen on smaller screens since it reduces the amount spent on device consuming media. I'm being a bit of a conspirator here but I'm my opinion they are trying as hard as they can to push big screens in order to keep people glued to their phones. I wronged if hole offers any support to producers for releasing smaller phones the size of iphone mini. There is a huge gap in the market between toy phones like palm, hertz and such and zenphone 9 which nobody seems to endeavour to cover. WHY?? Both Google and Apple are american companies. Does it have to do with media consumption and cultural expansionism of the western world?!? Why nobody in the smartphone industry want to fill that gap??

@@florinmoldovanu i do agree about that, there is a clear intention to keep people using apps as long as they can. Now, the sad part is people are not willing to go back and use smaller phones. iPhone 13 mini wasn’t the best model sales wise. I think at this point, we are too attached to media devices.

@@abeld94 iPhone mini was expensive as fuck and it dropped the home button in order for apple to push AR with face ID another gimmick meant to hook you to their technology. They could have integrated fingerprint in the power button like Sony and others do but the objective is to keep the herd consuming. All they are ever saying in those glossy presentations is "you need this shit!". I still have SE 2016 and I'm about to change the battery for the second time. I was looking for an Android phone at around the size of iPhone mini but no such thing in the market and it's not because "people don't buy them", it's because people don't have an option. The only option they have is either buy a 3 inch phone or a 6 inch + phone. It's a fucking monopoly. Apple and Google pretty much control the global market and nobody seems to notice this. We're all prisoners of their devices operating systems.

I'm torn between the 13 mini and the new zenfone 10. Going off of this video, the screen of the iphone seems more color accurate. The zenfone's screen doesn't seem to display whites correctly. Which renders it pretty useless for me as a photographer who does sometimes edit pictures on my phone when I don't have my computer at hand.

If you’re using it 12 hours straight and at full brightness, then yeah, the 13 mini and most phones aren’t for you. The battery life on the 13 mini is great. I get by pretty much every day without the need to charge till night time. I use it a lot and I love it

@@thosepantus479 straight? Then I suggest keeping the screen light about 25%-35 bright (unless you live in a very sunny place. Then adjust to a higher percentage) and/or keep it on low power mode. I do both as not only helps your phone with a keeps the battery draining quickly, but it also keeps the battery healthy for a much longer period of time

This dude doesn’t know what he is talking about. Asus ZenFone 10 has wireless charging capabilities with Qi 1.3. 3 certification. It is compatible with Qi-certified chargers up to 15W. I bet he just got scammed and has the zenfone 9 that’s why he sold his phone to his mom 😭
