Mattias Desmet on Our Grave Situation

Professor Mattias Desmet talks about his work that connects past historical episodes of what is called “Mass Formation” (aka Mass Psychosis) and current events. The risks are as grave as they come. Unless a few brave and courageous people are willing to stand up and say “I don’t agree!” history suggests that we will end up with a fully totalitarian outcome.

The mass formation/hypnosis is so apparent to many of us, but for those who have bought into the narrative aren't yet open to being told that they're wrong. Even gentle exposure to the facts seems overwhelming to them.

Great wisdom is shared here. I hope everyone will listen to the end and take what these gentlemen share seriously. My comment keeps getting deleted, so I'll try again. Mainly, I wanted to say what has happened to the world has been visited upon us by a very small group of small-minded people, who must be brought to justice, or they will be back with a more lethal brew. These people believe they know what is best for humanity and it can only be achieved through destruction of their choosing, similar thinking to the "peace through war" crowd. Actually, we have all the god given talents, mindpower and creatively we need to make our way to a very bright future.

Is now the first period in time when mass formation is occurring and people are aware of it? Were people aware it was happening in the moment previously in history?
@CR-ul6nx

Johnathon, I understand that yes, this perhaps is the first time we are aware of it. In history, those who were resistant to the narrative may not have understood the process of mass hypnosis, however knew that they couldn't morally buy into it. Now with the awakening of humanity and the research and understanding of our psychology, we are far more aware.

@desertflower13
@desertflower13 Жыл бұрын
What religion? Christianity began because Jesus is a real person, He really walked the earth and He really did the things written of Him. He’s not a myth like some ppl like to think. There’s so much historical evidence from non-biblical writers of that time, many of whom though trying to disprove Him within their writings, absolutely gave Him credibility as to Him truly being alive; why would they write about someone who didn’t exist?? Nonsensical. The book ‘Jerusalem,’ by Simon Montfiore wrote about the history of Jerusalem and Jesus is in that book. It took him 10 years to research the book.

I must check the claim made by the podcast host (and I paraphrase) that we live in an abundant functioning society that could be all lost because of this mass formation… I would argue that this whole situation is a reflection of a deeply broken society. We never had abundance, I mean sure the Earth is abundant, but we have been living in a global economic system that benefits from artificially creating resource scarcity. We have seen global inequality rise, increasing morbidity’s in the lower classes, and a plethora of soul-destroying bureaucratic bullshit jobs for those who try to conform to the ideals espoused by the ruling classes, politicians and their media public relation puppets, just so they can make ends meet. Thus you have mental disease affecting all classes of people, truly a reflection of a broken society. The system, neoliberal capitalism, if you will, is outdated, it’s time for humanity to raise the bar of economics and rewrite the monetary system (or perhaps completely obliterate it) to completely benefit all life forms on Earth guided by scientific principles and spiritually (which , if you don’t like that word, can just mean ‘well-being’). This will require some of the best thinkers in the world, not lousy politicians who are pretty much self-appointed guardians of the status quo. It will require scientists, technicians, and creative human beings.

There are a number of mistakes in what you write here. He does not admit to thinking people are stupid. He talks about people having various levels of intelligence. You seem to prove his point quite well.. The 'generally accepted science' you talk about doesn't exist. And it never has. The whole concept is flawed. There is however the 'science' accepted by those promoting the narrative - but there are also plenty of very credible highly experienced and influential scientists who have been promoting very different views from the start. The only difference is that the so-called 'accepted' Covid narrative is being backed and manipulated by Governments, captured regulators and the majority of the media - while dissenting voices are silenced. However there are actually plenty of dissenting scientific voices whose work is regularly covered in the leading scientific journals. But this gains no traction for reasons explained above. Yet the scientific debate still goes on. And this is what process of science actually is. Those seeking to control the debate for certain reasons are actually the anti-science brigade..
