Obsessed Garage

3 жыл бұрын

I have to do some more testing with this chair, but it's clear to me this is a very specific-use type of chair. Scott Ales uses this chair on the regular when he is dry ice cleaning cars. In the future, when we start offering dry ice cleaning solutions (hint...very soon...) I do think this chair will have a spot in the garage. Time will tell how we can improve this as time goes on.

Would be a good solution for someone who has a lift in a limited height garage, and who can't get enough height to walk underneath. I have a low creeper that I can raise the back/seat on in similar fashion and it works great for my Sprinter lift.

Aero - - - hmmmmm that is a clue - - - hmmmmm- - GOT IT !! . . . it is for working under airplanes of different heights!! I guess that name is the clue. Go figure . . .LMAO Great video, love this guy - - I had no money (1978), bought a new Volvo with an empty checking account, drove it home and had the drivers door panel off when my wife drove into the driveway +10min (she took me to pick it up) . Her hair stood on end . . . but honey, the window fell out of the track. I bent the track guide bottom in place and never happened again in 180,000 miles. Gotta do what is needed - NOW. :-)

Cool review, I got the Ergo Creeper RS but I am 5'3, so a baby according to you.. now my lift is a Max Jax M7K and my spaces are very shorts and tight, ceiling height is 8.7 and the car needing work a mini van Chrysler Town and Country which is 6 ft high, I only have less than 3 feet to work under the car; I have not lift it yet, these are just test measures I would know for sure once vehicle is on the lift. For these chairs everything should be adjustable; the back rests the seat, in the Ergo Chair the seat is flat which kind of makes you slide off it when pushing with your feet; for the prices these sells there should be no modifications needed to do at all. They both have their plus and their cons. A hybrid between the too should address all the issues the reviewers are pointing.

hey Matt can you do a video on your new internet access points, you said you scrapped Ubiquiti and i'm thinking about doing the same. every time unifi updates it screws with my settings, i went from 250 down to 150 down, and 140 to 40 on 2.4 and 5GHz, same power, same location, etc. they are a pain in my rear.

It's really not meant for the application of working on a car like that. Scott was working for enormous amounts of time in the same area whereas you would hardly need it to undo a bolt or 2! Polishing maybe but I still think you'd need to lean forward to apply bodyweight. It's simply just not the right application for you is all.

I bought a maxjax midrise. Just did my rod bearings, on rolling stools, just a little to high. Looked at maxjax reclining creeper, found the exact same from Whiteside for $100 less. I'm only 5' 10" and my head barely touches in the highest position with the leg thing raised. Seems like they could have made it 6" longer... funny video, you have me looking on how to modify mine that came in today...

Some products are a swing and miss. When you are too comfortable that's when accidents happen. If hardware or tools fall aint no easy way to escape sitting in a chair. I can see it applying a coating to a car sides when raised or taking a break.

I’m looking for a creeper that allows me to sand and spray gelcoat on the bottom Of a boat while it’s up on stand without having to lower the boat stands almost all the way to their lowest point. and this seems to be the only creeper on the planet that raises up in height. I don’t know why that’s not very common however, it would be absolutely perfect. Plus, the young generation nowadays )my employees) Complain that their arms hurt after holding a DA from the creeper to the bottom of the boat. Is it just that I’m not search incorrectly on Amazon for a creeper that raises up or is this just the only thing. I’d rather pay the new shop guy to send the bottom of the boat and deal with waves and buy one of these so I can sand. They are expensive. Give me the only one I found on Amazon was $590.
