TRUE. Not even Mariah can achieve that vocal perfection these days. I mean, "she's the best vocalist alive" but not anymore. Pure lip sync singing. Beyoncé deserves to have that crown.

@@whitneyhouston1122 Sure, of course. We all know that! I have nothing against Mimi, she is a legend, she is one of my great inspirations and she is one of my favorites... But we have to be realistic. I went to their Christmas concert in Barcelona last year and 15% of it was totally live, everything else was lip sync. And she is currently not at the level of a performance by Beyoncé and many other artists. Age is not a problem, we already see how the great Patti Labelle has had her voice and vocal range inactive over the years. It's sad, I know, but it is what it is.

But she suffers deterioration, she had some very bad moments, but she barely sings live because she doesn't tour usually and when she does it's a few shows, so she can rest her voice a lot and work on it when it get's worse. Whilst Beyoncé, for example, record much more songs on studio and go out touring with extensive dates and shows with 2 hours.

I love that this isn't a vocal battle, because everyone would know who would win this by a landslide. But Xtina surprised me a lot in this video. We already know, Xtina has never been a great vocalist "technically" but her voice remains intact over the years and her mix is getting better and better. Beyoncé is more chest-voice than previous eras in the middle belts, her upper belts are heavier. Her tone is darker but I love it. I think her voice is more beautiful than ever and her vocal agility borders on the most absolute perfection over time.

some people are outraged if some people prefer Xtina… I mean singing is not just about technique, it’s also about attitude and emotions, Xtina’s grit and tone have always made her belts iconic, despite of the questionable technique… btw both these 2 vocalists have preserved their voices incredibly well over time, it’s as if they were in their prime again

And i'm sure most fighters still think Xtina is better 🤣 She definitely improved, but still she's nowhere near to Beyoncé, it's sad how so many people are so uneducated and have zero ear. There's some pages on Instagram where they upload short vídeos with battles of notes or vocals and anyone with good sense can clearly see that Beyoncé sang better, but still many people comment that Xtina did better and receive MANY likes, to the point that she "wins" by popular opinion, and these people aren't even real fans. People got so unaccustomed to hear real good tuned singers and relaxed voices, so their ears find almost anything good

@@manfreddreisse2648 Su voz no está perfecta, tiene décadas agregando texturas a su voz con técnicas incorrectas que han terminado dañando por completo su registro, el raspido está presente ahora en toda su voz lo quiera o no (porque ya no es estilo, es señal de daño vocal) y además se ha acortado su rango.
