I am beginning to understand why God had me not seek after gifts. People were encouraging me to and I wanted to. Holy Spirit said just come after me and what you need you will have when you need it. I always receive so much good revelation when I listen to Chris!

ha, chris is so drunk with godlove! my jesus.. mmm, love that. the gifts are the starter pack.. ha, awesome. in the passing church age there were quite a few of us who weren't taught or modeled love.. gifts, perhaps.. love, not so much. which wasn't too different from our own families in many ways, so we didn't take much notice. if more of us were able to lay our lives down in love, like chris is saying.. in the simple context of OUR FAMILIES.. i believe the world couldn't but change almost overnight 🙂

Is God's grace for everyone? Can someone help me understand the scripture where God talks about how He gives grace to the humble, but opposes the proud? Does this mean He doesn't give grace to the proud,, or to sinners or?? Any insights would be appreciated. Ty💝

@@cherylwilliams4738 Yes HIs grace is for EVERYONE! Where sin increases - grace is released much more (Romans 5:20). We receive His grace when we humbly happily receive it (grateful but not entitled attitude). When we think God owes us (pride) He doesn’t reward that - that would be a poor father Fostering spoiled entitled kids. For people who think God owes them, His grace will eventually be to correct that. Pride/entitlement is bad for us. God loves ALL His kids and has grace for ALL His kids and because of that He is constantly maturing and revealing us in who we truly are - looking like Him in our flavor. my life before christ was death. there was no life. not true life. just conditioning and reactions to experiences. christ in me is everything. my jesus.. yes. the currency is knowing the person.. yes. and it seems no one can truly share in his sufferings unless they know that person.. are in union with him.. his heart and mind.
