About Maude: Gutsy, smart, outspoken, and liberal -- all are terms that describe Beatrice Arthur in the title role of the TV series that spun off from the popular All in the Family. Well-educated and upper-middle-class, Maude Findlay is the archetypal feminist of her generation. She lives in suburban Tuckahoe, New York, with her fourth husband, Walter (Bill Macy), their divorced daughter, Carol (Adrienne Barbeau), and grandson Phillip. The cast also includes Rue McClanahan as Maude's best friend Vivian; Walter's best friend and neighbor Dr. Arthur Harmon (Conrad Bain); and over the course of the series, three different maids (Esther Rolle, Hermione Baddeley and Marlene Warfield). Tough issues like abortion, alcoholism, women's liberation, menopause and politics are all fodder for the show's sharp wit and social commentary.

His autopsy it was ruled a massive stroke and he was cremated and he was buried at Westwood memorial Park in Los Angeles California and he was married to Katherine and had 6 dozen kids named Archie and Bentley and Sarah and woody and he had a star on the Hollywood walk of fame and its a true story and rest in peace Norman Lear amen

Yes, that’s true. I hadn’t heard about cigar-shaped ufos until the tic tac episode a few years ago. I thought it was amazing that she said she saw one back in those days. It was clearly “a thing” even back then.

In any other comedy, the UFO group would be full of "kooks" and would scare the witness out of talking to them. In this story it's the other way around, which is pretty original.

Cigar shaped UAPs aren't all that uncommon actually. The show was well researched. The Citizen Hearing for Disclosure should have made this more acceptable by now one would think.

"Cigar-shaped" and "flying saucer" are two DIFFERENT shapes. Cigar-shaped objects are the motherships, and the saucers are the scout craft that come out of those ships. Just saying.

@@movierun IDK about the cigar-shaped ones holding anything, though they might. The biggest mistake in the program was calling a cigar-shaped object a flying sauces, instead of a UFO.
