By far the best and only kick ass remix of x vs zero that doesn't copy all of the original. It takes different turns that makes this a more interesting remix of the og.

I believe all the upgrade capsules in X1 require the dash (though you later get the arm upgrade from Zero anyways). The final boss would be the toughest part with no upgrades, since you’d die in 1-2 hits.

I'd agree that x6 was the hardest of the X games, but I'd argue that it doesn't even come close to the difficulty of Zero 1 if we're including the entire Megaman series. That was a game that was criticized by professionals and gamers alike simply on the grounds that it was *too* hard.

If I were a pokemon champion, I would use this theme, and I would loop it at 1:37. I would be this epic badass 17 year old nerd with brown hair, a fur jacket without sleeves, glasses, razor sharp teeth, and would just love to fight anyone who challenges me. The hair would be a bit curly too. Oh yeah, and the stage would be with big hd tvs all around the stage, while there's a crowd all around to watch us kick our own asses. It would be BEAST.

I don't think the game is technically beatable under those conditions. I'm pretty sure Sigma 2 requires a charged shot or armored armadillo's weapon to hurt.

Hardest part would probably be the spider boss in Sigma Stage 1. Avoiding him when he gets low on health without dash would be very, very difficult. I wonder if all of the upgrade capsules can be obtained without dash? I don't think all of the heart tanks or sub tanks could be. Sounds like an interesting challenge. I might just have to do this. Haven't had a megaman x related challenge since my no death/no sub tanks run of x3.

Indeed, it's impossible, but that could be the only exception to that challenge because you MUST use charged shots. Anyways, it's very hard to beat the game under these conditions

I don't think it's possible to get all the armor parts, I haven't tried it. But you can't get all sub tanks and hearts... you can get about 2 subtanks and 3 hearts

Okay, a buddy of mine asked if it was not too late to play ALL MMX games. I told him of two guys I knew. One of them beat MMX 1-6 on instinct alone and came back to use cheats to unlock the extra stuff. The other guy beat all 6 games using a Walkthrough, coming close to ragequit on X3 and X6 since even with help, it took his own brains to defeat mavericks. I didn't recommend either way to him yet, so which way do any of you think is better? Play through 1-6 on instinct, or use a walkthrough?

tell him to play MMX (1) ONLY using his x-buster, no charge shots, no maverick weapons, no dashing, take only what you can take under those conditions (or if he doesn't want it "too easy", not taking anything at all)... and then we'll talk about rage LOL

Dude X6 is great but difficulty-wise is a joke. Nothing beats X 1-4. X4 is amazingly difficult. But you don't need walkthroughs for X games. Like Defrath said, just use the damned x-buster =P
