Mavic 3 crash while kayaking at the lake.

While I was kayaking recording wildlife in a private property trying to do a nice video of my 1000 subscribers celebration, my drone suddenly drifted to the right side and hitting to a tree branch and crashed on the water. I was able to recover the drone thanks to the phantomrain.org wetsuit bright colors in the shallow water and the Firehouse ARC V blinking light. Sadly I lost the SD card. At least I was able to recover the video from the cache of my DJI RC Pro (this video).
Thanks to all my subscribers for helping me reach the 1000 mile stone.
How many alligators can you count on the video? I really miss many of them while flying.

There are too many "nopes" in that water. Glad you were able to recover the drone but damn..... that's a lot of gaters.

Awe man this is so heartbreaking. That last little zip then crash. I completely understand your pain and I just got my mavic 3 repaired through DJI and they were absolutely amazing other than the fact they shipped my fixed drone to Texas for some reason when I live in Colorado. But they ended up fixing it in a timely manner and were absolutely awesome and that’s why I continue to fly with DJI. I truly hope you get this fixed so you can get back up in the air and have some fun and explore with your mavic 3!!

If the crash where when I had taken the chance between the trees I will feel better, but the crash was from a malfunction... DJI help me in the case. I will do a separate video. A new drone is on the way.

That looks like the type of crash where you don't recover the drone. So sorry. Was it a bird attack or accidentally flying into the hanging Moss or branches? Great footage though. Loved the view.

Flying data suggest the altitude sensor malfunction combined with an erratic APAS "corrections", and sensors unable to detect the tree. We need to wait for DJI.
