I see Max’s point about this whole players “falling off the cliff” idea. Payton Manning is a perfect example. Payton has a great 2014 season. 39 TDs to 15 INTs. Then all of sudden in 2015 Payton goes 9 TDs to 17 INTs. Payton looked like he didn’t know how to play anymore. Age and injuries just finally caught up. I’m not gonna go on a whole list of players, but that’s just the idea. Tom Brady might be a decent hit/injury away from looking like 2015 Payton; however, for now, Tom is still playing at his GOAT level.
