One thing’s certain w/ today’s news: the Tom Brady haters lost-& they lost huge. He not only didn’t fall off the cliff, he walked away w/ a strongest case for MVP at 44. He never declined. Brees declined, Manning declined, Roethlisberger declined, many others declined, Brady didn’t. At least Max eventually admitted he was wrong in this take. But many others never admitted it (and won’t admit it) and it’s unfortunately sad.

At least max prefaced it by saying brady is the goat (and this was six months before 28-3) he was going off the history of other athletes past 40 (while ignoring the exceptions) all these others literally hate brady..the popular thing going around now Is 'brady doesn't scare defenses' ....ike wut? If that's true then that's why they lose to him. They think he's moody anakin and then he flips the switch to pissed off vader....

"Tom Brady is just about done." "Tom Brady is going to be a bum in short order". As of 1/26/2019, he has led his team to 3 AFC Championships since 2016 (2016, 2017 and 2018) and 1 Super Bowl Title (2017 and possibly 2018). He also won Super Bowl MVP following 2016 and NFL MVP following 2017. Is Max Kellerman going to EVER be held accountable for his lies.

Looking back on this, max had valid reasons to think so and had some accurate examples with Kobe, Peyton and Jeter. Brady ended up breaking the pattern proving him to be greater and different than everybody else

Yeah that’s all true and valid. I think the backlash comes from people who’ve watched all of Tom’s games over the years. Like patriots fans. Ive seen nearly every game he’s played and some of them multiple times over. Me and many others been saying as early back as 2010 tom was gonna play the longest of anyone and be the GOAT. If you actually take a close look at his entire career (with the benefit of some hindsight) he truly was noticeably different even in the earliest of years

Brady 28-3 Super Bowl comeback victory... nfl record 505 passing yards in following superbowl after winning league mvp in same year.. and now going to a 3rd straight superbowl after executing 3 game winning drives in one game on the road as underdog at Kansas City in the afc championship at age 41. GOAT. All of this is AFTER max already acknowledged Brady as the greatest of all time.
