I highly suggest cave spelunking for all the gems and Toroids you need, with a booster if you can. Definitely TAP and GO if you are boosted as to save a great amount of time. Also the cave that is in the far southwest corner has a glitch near its north entrance that allows you to fall out of the map and teleport to Fortuna's front door step, so I just do that cave last and then teleport to Fortuna when i'm done and save quite a bit of time there. If you can find that glitch it makes doing this a lot faster. I usually can Toroid check all the caves and mine clean them in about 45m with drop chance/drop booster for 3 days(80platinum) this usually gets me 14-20 Thyst, 14-20 Zodian, much more Amarast, and usually 2-8 Toroids per run any more then that would be godly luck with the Toroids as they are quite infrequent. All Toroid types can spawn at each Toroid spawn location within the caves, so the maximum amount of Toroids you can find per spawning cave is 3, they will be together. -Side note there was some new content added with Fortuna 2 to the Toroid spawn locations, they are what appear to be debt bonds with the names of the Fortuna NPC's on them which you can scan towards some achievement.

I find that one of the best spots to "mine" is the 5 sometimes 6 containers the respawn around Fortuna every few minutes. Sometimes you get standard resources, other times you get half a dozen Mining/Fishing/Plant resources. Smash these go do your stuff, return a few minutes later smash them again.. Rinse and repeat.

Tap and Go, resource booster, resource drop booster, smeeta and preferably combine with doing something else at the same time. Right now, a lot of people are running the brand new orb mother bounties. Running phase 2 solo for the material rewards is a good opportunity to pick up a few nodes right outside fortuna each time.

I will be blunt here. What you have said about doing the mining without getting it in the brackets is wrong. I would get 10 gems from doing it correctly, and half of that when not doing so. As well as that, if you're looking for the rarer gems and want to buy a booster, go for the resource drop chance instead of resource booster. It increases the frequency of finding blue ore veins to a huge degree, making them more common than red veins.

I always use resource booster. Wish they had a 3 month booster. Kuva is the main reason and fishing.

I found that the heating meter actually stops a bit further than what it seems : I often hit bonus spots despite the meter stopping before the spot and sometimes missed spot because the meter stopped exactly at the end of the zone. To nail the timing, I focus on the middle of the zone or the beginning of the bonus spot and wait for the meter to go there.

will try. i usually farm right outside front of fortuna. right and south from door. bunch of gems and there’s cave down the road. containers behind fortuna usually spawn and it drop bunch of gems too. run back in and run out. everything reset. 👍🏻 edited, u could run south and run into containers. destroy them. get gems then keep going south. get more gems then come back. containers will spawn again. destroy them. might will get more gems from it. depending.

Enemies can teleport into caves as well. A few reinforcement beacons and you will quickly be neck deep and no easy way out. Tip: It's obvious Loki makes mining easier. However, for those that don't know, Titania is a great alternative. Reason being you can equip the cutter while in Razor Wing mode. This not only reduces your damage do to her passive 50% evasion, it also makes moving around cave a bit easier and allowing her to reach those deposits out of reach.

I'm in dire need of amarast but can't seem to get with sunpoint plasma drill. In wiki it says you got better chance for amarast with an advanced mosam cutter but I've only managed to get focused mosam cutter. Would I have better chance for amarast with focused mosam cutter?

I don't have the drill you said to bring and I found some Amarast with the drill from PoE. Also yes I am not joking I did get some because I was mining there with that drill and got some. However it seems very rare to get as I have only seen Amarast drop twice out of the many times I went gem hunting there.

I started grind gems cause I just dont wanna grind bounties for standing. After the change to vendors having relics now its 100% worth farming open world standing and thats where gems come into play for fortuna anyway. Stack fish for cetus. Stack gems for fortuna and Diemos you just pretty much have to grind bounties luckily mother tokens are easy to get and you can max out the day doing one steel path run.

I think I found the best mine deposit. West of transit depot there is a cave with a f%ck ton of blue veins and there is a chance for one ore to give 3 precision bonus ore where if you hit all 3 you get 3 bonus rare or along with the one for the vein it was

Why don't people ever consider getting a Smeeta Kavat? Yeah the bonus is random but it's better than nothing. Plus it can stack on boosters and even itself if you get really lucky. I had a super lucky run where my bonus drop triggered twice and I came out of it with tons of the rare gems. You're really better off having it than just having the sentinal just fly around doing nothing.
