...and when that "roadblock" gets annihilated. That overtake was insane. Shame the second one did not work, but it was pretty naive to not take the defensive line when he knew that's the spot. 😂 Instead he was waving on the straight.

Crazy to see "Lear Corporation" all over this track. I was involved in design with them and the customers they supplied to in the capacity of an electrical engineer. I moved onto consulting but what a throw back!

Watching this in 2023 make you happy cause you know how hard Max worked to always get better at racing and he usually applies many of his skills from sim-racing to real tracks and that's what make him especial and talented, it's not a unnatural thing but from studying and hard work that actually payed him off.

It's an IMSA track in detroit. Full street circuit. Very challenging due to the bumpy nature and zero runoff.

It's the iRacing replay system, It struggles to mimic what the driver is doing unless it's taken directly from the drivers PC, Although the track is really bumpy it's not actually this bad

So many things are amazing here... the car setup seems to be as good as it gets, but the driving... so fast and above all no mistakes... the driving seems to be text book in the sense of being simple, but damm, so hard do actually do it and again, with no mistakes whatsoever

To be fair, it wasn't a double homicide for Max, he killed #2 who then killed #15 because he didn't want to hit the brake. He tried to drive through it, didn't work so well.

netcode. the game thought he touched the wall, which is why it was displaying the damage on the client side. but since he didn't actually touch the wall it was redacted!

22:14 was just a dick move. Car #2 "Alan" had already turned in and committed to his line. Then Max dives in on him. No way did Max have his front wheels along side before Alan started his turn in.

this is caused by 'netcode' or 'lag' and is perfectly normal. He (Max) would not see it from his POV.

Stellar start, no doubt about it - very disappointing overtakes! He divebomb twice, claimed the Apex with no right to, almost caused a crash in the first divebomb. Then, on the second divebomb he loses it and takes 2 cars out... just sad!

Sneak an AI car through the bottom of a corner and count on the lack of good contact physics to take care of the rest. This situation would not work out well in real life.
