Max Verstappen’s Funny Reaction to the collision of Lance stroll and Daniel Ricciardo | "My Fault!"

Max Verstappen gives a funny reaction after reacting to the replay crash between Lance Stroll and Daniel Ricciardo.
Daniel Ricciardo was on track for a points finish before a cruel twist of bad luck hampered the Australian's race at the Chinese Grand Prix.
Ricciardo was poised to finish in the top 10 before Aston Martin's Lance Stroll went into the back of him before the first safety car restart, causing significant damage to his rear wing.
The incident was caused by Fernando Alonso locking up going into the turn, resulting in the following cars braking suddenly. Ricciardo hit Oscar Piastri's diffuser before Stroll sent the back of Ricciardo's car into the air, such was the severity of the impact.

I wonder how feasible a rule that prevents family members from having ownership would be 🤔. It might be worth it, because the Stroll’s are frustrating the sport as a whole. Imagine half an entire grid of this example.

I'd give him a pass for blaming him instantly after the incident. It's the heat of the moment. What I don't understand is how he still doesn't think it's his fault in the post race interviews. He literally said he doesn't get why he got the penalty. I'm lost for words.

Atleast we got an Aston Martin f1 team because of Stroll and also Fernando doing his best which everyone's enjoying.. you may argue that if it wasn't Stroll's Aston Martin then who would be and that's pretty big 'If' And Fernando is well aware of the fact that because of Lance there's one team on the grid who's more likely to work. Because we know Fernando's got some history towards it. So seat back, relax and enjoy his Driving and Ignore Lance.

Just a racing incident. Never been a fan of single file restarts, it’s just like Indycar racing. What’s the point of building a lead, then someone brings out the safety car, then the whole field bunches up again. F1 should never have adopted the safety car rule. Local yellows only, if it’s bad red flag it.

@@paultruesdale7680 The fact they bring out the safety car is primarily for the safety of everyone there, not only the drivers... I personally wouldn't like to see the safety of the race compromised because some people are not 'fan of single file restarts'... Lance made a mistake and wasn't man enough to admit it, so yes people despise him for it. Just like many other 'racing incidents' Lance produced.

Stroll can be a decent driver every now and then, but he oftentimes has lapses of concentration or a total lack of awareness and we end up with shit like this. I can see why people want to see him gone. Dude's been driving in F1 for a long time and he's rather lackluster. Not the worst paydriver we've ever seen, but it would be neat to see that seat open up for someone else...

He has never been a decent driver, at all. Daddy bought his seat at Williams who then refused his money because it didn't even match the cost of the damage he would cause, which is being more than proved now in a team that his Daddy HAD to buy him otherwise he'd just be another rich kid in jail after mowing down a group of girls who called him ugly. He is a disgrace to the sport.

@@robertstack6844 On a good day, Stroll has been able to churn out some good performance, both in qualifying and during races... but he's very inconsistent and such examples of actually good performance are few and far between. These short glimpses of competence are more than matched by . . . well. The thing we saw this race. It was just a very short lapse of attention, but it cost one driver his race and significantly affected the race of another. That last bit, I won't even dignify with an elaborate response, it's just pure polemics.

Even on the days that Stroll does surprisingly well, his teammate usually does it better. His last podium was Bahrain 2020 I think, but that was the race that Perez won after being 20th at the end of lap 1.

I watch F1 for racing, qualifying, the tech. I’m not interested in the soap opera of team politics. Some of the drivers come from normal backgrounds, but there are a lot of drivers who are sons of ex- racers and very wealthy people. I don’t care who is racing and who supports them. Excellence in engineering and supreme driving skills. The rest is just the circus, a fantastic show. Every driver in the modern era of F1 has been vetted, they possess the skills to be there. Their racing resumes prove it. Public opinion counts for nothing, aside from your interest and ultimately your pocket books. Even then there would be some form of competition. Wealthy and determined individuals would still find a way to compete.

Anger misdirection during a race is common, attributed to adrenaline. Clearing the air and taking responsibility *after* the race was needed, but not something you should expect from a rich nepo child.

if i would be daniel i would say what everyone is thinking, stroll dont know how to drive and dont belonf to f1. but somehow he needs to be diplomatic about being crashed in to..... f1 drivers of the past would punch him.
