@@kelappan556 You r just saying random number 1% this that. I don't want to delve into one religion supremacy over another. It's crazy when people give too much credit to sanatan dharm. There was no Hinduism in Buddha's era. There was Brahmanism which was based on inequality. People were divided based on their cast. The right to learn was only with Brahmins. Buddhism and Jainism challenged this which forced Brahmanical intellectuals to consolidate their religious practices and teachings and rectify their existence.

This interview was the best of all the interviews that Max Chernov has taken with any of expats living in Indian .He was clear what viewpoints he has about India. And they were very valid. I also liked his straight forward ness, also that he is a voracious reader, which I too am.

I have a special liking for this open hearted Frenchman. There are so many friendly people in India. Indian family values can be learnt only when you are associated with them. Among the Indian married couple there is nothing like "my money, your money." However, sadly we are adopting so many bad things from the West and not rectifying so many wrong things of ours.

Here's another French man living in Mount Abu Rajasthan practicing my sadhana, coaching online and running a small guest house- India is something else altogether. India is not an easy place but its a tremendous place and culture and people. What living here has made is beyond everything i could have imagined - in those extremes, we find a centre from where life becomes a creative, evolutionary, unlimited adventure- can only be grateful for it.

India may have flaws but indians never played victim card or complaint against their lives.India once used to contribute 27% in world GDP but due to frequent invasion,loot, destruction india became one of the poorest country in the world when Britishers left.After 75 years of independence india has arrived to take giant leaps forward and we hoping and working hard for it👀🤔🙏

They were the first ones to separate Religious Theology and State and hence were the first liberals in Europe. But they still are of the same theology (LEFT) umbrella (ABRAHAMIC) hence the overall majority in France will assume India is backward but they will more willing to change their outlook if proven otherwise.

That's because majority of French people are secular in the real sense. Countries like USA, UK, Italy are heavily christianised and hence have biases against Indians

I am from India, many many people of the world say, Indians are poor, here Govt salary is less than many others countries, it is true, our salary is less than others developing countries but we get here everything at the lowest costs, I mention this, 1 kilo potato is here only 20 rupees but if you purchase one kilo potato from South korea, you have to pay 500 ruppes, if you purchase 1 kilo rice in India only 48 rupees but 1 kilo rice in USA you have to pay 300 rupees, similarly if you purchase 1 pc cloth in India at 500/, but the same qualities cloth from korea ,you have to pay 2500 rupees, in a word here life is simple, easy , thanks for sharing it with others, love from India,

I live next door in Myanmar. The indian community is great here. I even got an invitation to meet the second in charge of the Indian embassy. I would love to visit there some time as its next door. I love your India series Max. we have awful KZfaqrs currently coming to Myanmar who make a lot of click bait videos to make themselves look so Edgelord. Even i thought that . He is on point on certain topics of India. But still only knows 1 % of India. If he wanna know full India, he need to travel more. Every 200km , he may encounter different dialect and every state, he may encounter different language and food habits. So, it is not easy to talk about India in 20 mins video.

Tbh the no. Is high based on population but the actual % shows that middles class is still small.. maybe by 2030 our Country will have a large Middle class but rn a salary of 1.5 L+ a month puts you in top 10%

yes, but he is right as well, there are extreme wealth concentrated at the top and 50% of the people are really poor and there are just 400 million middle class. Middle class needs to be atleast 600-700 million people to have domino effect. america has 24+ million millionaires, europe has 17+, China has 7 million millionaires while India has just 1 million millionaires. India needs to bigger middle class and more millionaires.

No, he's part of the 1% thanks to his wife. His wife's cousin's hospital in India was a private hospital where patients have to pay, his mother works in a French government hospital that is free.

It reminded me of when Neil Armstrong was asked about being selected for the moon mission. He gave an honest answer: his child had died, and the interviewer asked if that would reduce his productivity. He answered honestly, saying yes, it did affect him, and that denying it would be impossible.
