Mind-blowing Maxwell Miracle. Hats off to him for pulling off a stunning victory being disabled and the shots he played reminded me of PERUKKIFY moment, similar to our VIPs sweeping style for SWACH BHARATH 🤣🤣🤣 They say fortune favours the brave and no wonder Max got lucky with 2 dropped chances. Afghans missed a trick, especially their fast bowlers and erred in the lengths they bowled to him. KAALU mela podratha vittutu, instead they pitied the disabled and missed a golden opportunity. But still well played Afghans, they almost crossed the CHAKRA-VYUHA till Oz was reeling at 91 for 7. Now those dropped chances and Afghans losing to Bangla will come back to haunt them. I would still love them to qualify for SEMIS as that would be a high achievement for AFG and TEAM INDIA can give a better send-off to AFGHAN boys. From here on, looks like NZ are the firm favourites to qualify for semis out of the three (NZ, AFG and PAK) As I said before, Oz is the only team that has tested Team India so far(2 for 3 could have been easily 20 for 4), in the very first game. You are very true after maxi innings very one shifted gears towards Aussies. I don’t like it. He did bat well but against inexperienced bowling, would he have done the same if MSD was the opposite side captain or against shami or bumrah the chances are less than 5% and his fastest 100 also came against Netherlands. It was so obvious that Afghanistan should have been bowling slow balls much outside the off stump to the injured Maxwell. This clearly lost the match for Afghanistan. Cummins so commendable in batting. Never ever tried to lift a ball. Offered a dead and defensive bat. Admirable foil to the belligerent Maxwell. Raghuraman.
