Hi Biss! The words at the beginning are explaining that the CC subtitles won't be available until September and that you're supposed to try to figure out what the lyrics are (according to comments I've read by Japanese speakers). MtH sometimes make up words and language to fit the music, so often even Japanese can't understand what they're saying! So don't feel bad that you're confused 🙂 And the live bit at the end is them getting the crowd at a previous concert to do moves that they filmed and used earlier in the video. Also, if you go to their channel, there's a companion video with the band in front of a green screen teaching a dance to go with the song 😄 They did the same for Koi No Sperma a few years back, and the live video of that song shows the entire crowd doing the moves - which makes me hope that they'll be going out on tour soon! 🤞I enjoy your reactions - Stay Cute! 🥰

“Koi no America” is an homage to America through the perspective of the band, leading them to jump through many styles they consider to be quintessentially American. They jump through arena rock, synthpop, EDM and Americana while still injecting their distinctive nu metal/hardcore style. Limited quantities of the album were released through mail order but have already sold out. From article in ROCK SINS, by Phillip Whitehead.

I am Japanese, but I can hardly understand the lyrics of this band.They sing Japanese like English pronunciation. Just like you, I liked Nao's part of the guitarist's older sister and drum.She is very good not only as a drummer but also as a vocalist. Thank you for reacting to the Japanese band!😊

Hello. I am Japanese. It is difficult for a Japanese person to understand the lyrics of this band without a lyric card. The lyrics will be released in the future, but what is certain now is that this song has an anti-A-bomb aspect to it. First of all, the song was uploaded to KZfaq on August 6, the day the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, and at 5:46 of the song, the lyrics "Don't take it away anymore, it's not that much" and "Don't drop it again, it hurts everyone" can be heard. However, I do not think this is a condemnation of the U.S., but rather a hope to the world that nuclear bombs will not be used in the future. The song is very groovy and fun, but as a Japanese, I wanted you to know that there is such a side to this song, so I commented.

The song was released on August 6th (Hiroshima atomic bombing)... Around 5:45 the "vocaloid" robot voice sings something roughly translated as : "America, don't bomb us again, it's bad for everybody."

I'm Japanese, but their lyrics don't have any particular meaning. There are almost no Japanese who understand the meaning of the lyrics. There are a lot of undertones. The lyrics are the least, but I like the way they sound. They sound like English. And the lyrics will be released on KZfaq around September 2023, "I sound like this, the lyrics. They will release the real subtitles after the project. 俺は日本人ですが、彼らの歌詞に意味は特に無いです。歌詞の意味分かってる日本人、ほぼいません。下ネタ多いし。歌詞は最低でも、その歌詞の響きがいいんです。英語っぽくて．あと歌詞は2023年9月頃、「歌詞は、こう聞こえる」というKZfaq企画後、本当の字幕を公開するそうです。

By the way, the youtube project including the real subtitles has been rescheduled for late October due to the guitarist Maximum The Ryo having the flu. ちなみに本当の字幕を含むyoutube企画ですが、ギターのマキシマム亮君がインフルエンザの為、10月下旬に変更になりました。

Subtitles are available at 11.02. I was surprised to see the youtube project. I didn't know that the lyrics from 4:15 onwards were talking about the atomic bomb, even though the lyrics had no message until now. And the lyrics in general were about admiration and jealousy of USA. 11.02に字幕が出ます。youtube企画を見て驚きました。今までメッセージ性の無い歌詞だったのに、今回4:15～の歌詞が、まさかの原爆について語ってるとは聞いてて分かりませんでした.あと歌詞の全般はUSAへの憧れと嫉妬でした。

Compare this to the German band Rammstein and their song "Amerika" (German orthography with a "k" - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNhon82DzMmufoE.html) "We all living in America, Amerika ist wunderbar // ... This is not a love song". A stark critic of the "American Way of Living".

I'm not usually down for these new Japanese bands. But these guys jumped back and forth through a few different styles in there, and it's pretty badass to hear I thought...some classic heavy rock, some kinda thrash and some punk rock too that reminded me of Green Day a bit......good choice today.....

@@warinsidemyhead8939 Why use "Baby Metal", though the music is OK, a kawaii metal (rather than J-Pop) pedo gimmick, where girls prance around with generic male metal players and composers providing the music, in the same sentence with a band of great musicians like "Band-Maid"? They are not even the same genre. Despite the maid clothes, granted, a gimmick, every member of Band-Maid makes it a moot point since they actually play their instruments quite well. Mincho, Akane, and Misa are great musicians; period. Can you think of a less currently relevant band to be reminded of other than GD? Who still makes a GD comparison 23 years into the millennium? Are the 90's that important to you? Do you think millionaire communists, Rage Against Prostatic Hyperplasia, is still a relevant band? 10-15 years ago, I was raked for a GD comparison comment; deservedly so.
