Why do these gorgeous fans have to be so cheap?? That's what gets thrown in my head whenever I see fans like this.

Indeed. It seems as if Canarm sold this fan for design as opposed to quality.

Aside from those Crappy Fluorescent Bulbs.. I quite like this.. Just wish it had cane.. I think the low speed is pretty good on the fan.. but slower is always nice.. You should consider investing in an RPM meter.. they're pretty affordable..

There was actually a variant of this sold with cane, however it was only available in 42". Thanks for the suggestion regarding an RPM meter. That's definitely something to consider.

I have plans to switch out the Romex cable you see on the ceiling with armored cable, however that's about it.

Although they're quite standard, they do indeed compliment the overall style of the fan.
