Helpful tip: if takes a lot of effort turning the collar, you have much preload

you shouldnt be using the lower collar to adjust ride height in the first place

Loosen the hub bolts you didnt use the spacers and you bent the hub flanges that might not have been square in the jig when they welded the flange on .

Steering and control is night and day better. Ride qaulity depends on how you adjust them and how cheap you go with them

What happens if you can’t move it by hand. I think mine are seized I can’t adjust it by hand like that on the ride height of the front left. The right side I am able to. Any tips for that?

Take them out and dip it vinegar overnight

Turn the top nut and it'll do the same thing. Just probably takes a bit longer

don’t do that bruh you’re gonna fuck up yorke coils if they aren’t these exact coils yours aren’t able to move by hand and you’re going to fuck with the preload so just use the wrench

Use spanner wrenches that come with the coils that’s what they’re made for

@@victorflores8033he’s talking about spinning the entire coil you donut. yes you use the wrenches for the collars and then to spin, it you have to use your hands. like he literally did in the video…..

if the locknut wouldnt move it would affect the preload, but here you can see it turn with the shock

@@danikkasleep86 no, usually you wouldnt want to change the preload while adjusting height, if you wante to change the preload you would turn the upper lock nuts instead

Thats the rear. Front would have a sway bar end link connected to the strut. This is a coupled rear strut. They also make divorced rear struts where the spring is separate from the strut.
