Especially after the Garbage Plate Challenge the day before...
This was DAY TWO of THREE and with Stefan we headed to Cattlemans Steakhouse
⭐Cottage Pie Challenge ⭐
- Gigantic Cottage Pie with beef, onions, gravy and peas, topped with creamy mash and grated cheese!
- Honey roasted carrots
- Peas!
- Garlic bread
This was honestly very tasty, but just very big and when I started very hot!
I had 60 minutes
If I could defeat it I'd win £100!

The only time I've seen a cottage pie that size is when I make it for my family! I add diced carrots and peas directly to the meat filling. One of our favorite winter comfort foods.

This cottage pie challenge is no joke, anyone who eats a family cottage pie to themselves which is 1.5kg (me) knows how full you feel afterwards, to do almost 3 of those with sides puts into perspective how hard this challenge is 👏

I gave you 10 minutes and you smashed that. Way to go! I love cottage pie. When I was a kid, we had a cottage on the lake. Whenever we were there, my Aunt would make cottage pie. I always thought it was called that because she made it at the cottage. I found out, when I got older, that it was a dish from England.

Cattlemans has some nice looking food challenges. Unique too. A massive cottage pie sure beats a regular burger and fries challenge! Especially with garlic bread 😋 Their challenges are serious business though. 10lb is a huge amount of food! More than most eaters can get down, especially after that vegan platter the day before. Absolutely amazing you finished it so quickly. Great job and congratulations on the win!! 🎉 Looking forward to you, Josh and Stefan returning in July 😁

Max, I have to ask...How can you do massive challenges like this literally back-to-back with barely a day in between? Putting aside it only takes an average of 4 hours for the human stomach to empty, that stuff still needs to go somewhere. If I were to ever try a challenge, I would need at least a week to recover from it. On to the challenge at hand...Well done you did incredibly well and you should be so proud! 7.31 was insane! But the top of that Cottage Pie needed to be much browner.
