LAKE by the ocean dates back to 2009 when maxwell was revising the first part of this trilogy so please stop comparing it to CAKE by the ocean which came years later. Furthermore, this video is a beautiful celebration of Hispanola. The whole island. Seeing as Spanish is as much represented as Creole. Shot in the hills of La Republica and Haiti. Simply stunning. Some of you should visit the other half of the island if you don't recognize...

This is straight up Hott!! And I'm 3 years late😫 but good music isn't affected by time. True R&B that doesn't need a expensive video to make it great. One of my favorite artists.
