Yes, forget about all those copy Beatles bands, they are beginning to be a drag! These guys are great! Yes, I too can watch them all day! I love it when the cover the complete *"WHITE ALBUM"*

The Analogues are as close a band as you’ll ever get to covering The Beatles with musical expertise- they are masters of their craft! As a Beatles fan for over 58 years, The Analogues have successfully carried on the Fab Four’s music. Bravo!

Absolutely brilliant! Whoever is on the Moog does a wonderful job. And the rest of the sounds (including the anvil!) are spot on.

The guitarist got the guitar part down to a tee. And its the same style Fender Telecaster George used during the *"Abbey Road Sessions"* although not sure if _George or Paul_ played the guitar part

Crazy I was actually randomly searching KZfaq for versions of this song and here's 1, 1 hour ago lol. Very obscure song to happen with. Fantastic song, upbeat and demonic. Great cover.

They don’t really even cover the Beatles, they play the Beatles. Like how an Orchestra plays Mozart. This is the level, they’re using the literal exact period equal instruments. I’m simping.

Concordo, Mark. Já vi muitas bandas cover, ao vivo e aqui no KZfaq. Tudo que tocam fica perfeito; os vocais são muito bons, só não consigo identificar o sotaque, mas já vi elogios em comentários de nativos da língua inglesa. Até a "difícil" Oh! Darling ficou emocionante. Só espero vê-los um dia aqui em Fortaleza. Será missão impossível?

All these years listening to this song, I was sure the bass part was not being played by a bass guitar, but rather another wind / brass instrument. Marvelous to see how it was done.

Otro portentoso estreno para hoy ¿La obra? Nada más y nada menos que Maxwell's Silver Hammer. Una creación de letra sangrienta de Macca que cuenta la historia de un estudiante, asesino en serie, que Lennon detestaba tanto, que se negó a tocar instrumento alguno en su grabación el 9 de julio de 1969 (mañana cumple 53 años). The Analogues, en un "Backstage" reciente explicó todo lo que les costó conseguir el yunque que sonara igual que el de los liverpulianos. Ojalá la vean hoy en directo a las 5 pm. Otra joya en ciernes de este grupo tan sorprendente. Los esperamos en Medellin, Colombia. Llenaremos el teatro.

I did not know that this was based on a real murder, I heard that one time during a session John Lennon wasn’t playing his instruments because he was recovering from a car accident? Would you be able to tell me which murder this song was related to?

The Beatles' road manager, Mal Evans, did the hammer on the anvil for the song. Tragically, Mal was shot dead by police in his L.A. home in 1974. 😔
