Cheer's mate I lived and worked for most of my life around here must be around your age I'm 68 now brought up in thaxted road since 1948 (Buckhurst hill) visit me Mum still, live in Devon now ,but miss Essex etc.worked on the buses most of the time ,enjoy Harlow if you can :)

2:29 Woodbridge - my school from 1982 to June 1988 - might have been spring/summer 1986/1987/1988 when one morning the Radio London traffic spotter plane spent the entire morning orbiting over the school... where on the roof someone had whitewashed in ten foot tall letters 'hell house'

Hello Greyhoundowner ! You lost me after the Napier Arms pub ! I lived in Hale End Road and went to Selwyn Avenue School. I was born in !945 and loved living opposite the strip of shops opposite..The Flat is still there on the corner of "The Crescent"..When I was about nine years old, I had my tonsils out at a small hospital on Forest Road ..Down from the Napier arms ( Quite a way down.. ) For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of this hospital., and my mum and dad are gone now... Have you any idea what it was called, and does it still exist? I so loved my time in this area ..Highams Park, The lake near Epping forest, Even my School..! Thank you for your video.

So it's 1990. I'm a flash young guy. I parked my Porsche 911 outside those shops one rainy Saturday night to pick up a Chinese takeaway before going to my girlfriend's place in snakes lane. When I came out of the Chinese the bloody car wouldn't start! Spent the whole night there waiting for a truck to row it away. It was the fuel pump. And I married the girl!
