Your Federation Station Citytv went all-in for the finale of Star Trek The Next Generation with a special screening at the SkyDome and all your favourite City personalities decked out in Starfleet uniforms
Retrontario’s primary mission is the preservation, research and exhibition of rare videotape recordings (1970s to 1990s) recorded off of any and all Ontario (and surrounding area) TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. We also hope to create an ongoing oral history of this content through comments left below the videos. I attended this in person! Skipped history class to get free tickets from the Radio Shack at Yorkdale Mall. My teacher said it was OK as long as i got him some too. Lol

Still have my VHS I recorded. I had 10 of us grade 11s sitting in my tiny room watching this. My buddy went to it live and years later saw it on DVD and was amazed. He couldn't see most of it as it was not great on the tron

I'm amazed that something like this was done. See I'm American and I was a small child when the final episode premiered. And to my knowledge we didn't do anything like this in America so it's really awesome to see that something like that was done. Also, what was the episode that was voted as number one

I was there, and the energy of being with so many fans at the same time was incredible. The episode that won was Yesterday's Enterprise.

Actor Marc Alaimo (future Trek villain Gul Dukat as well as a handful of different characters on TNG) was reported to be a special guest at this event. He has confirmed to me he appeared on TSC that afternoon as well. If anyone has footage of him on TSC, I'd love to see it!

I remember when they announced the Finale date on CityTV - I actually have the commercial on an old VHS tape...I was so devastated the series was ending. I just didn't want it to go. But alas, who knows how the series would've ended up had it kept going. Probably better to quit while they were ahead. Good times though...I'll miss them.
