He wasn't a good guy where it mattered. All his growth was for nothing because he still followed Dutch's braindead plans one after the other knowing very well that every job was putting them into a deeper pit. He just wagged his tail until it was too late to finally stand up to Dutch.

truly the greatest story game I've ever played. I'm waiting for Rockstar to come out with another story, though it'll be hard to top this one. RDR2 could really have its own Netflix show.

I love how the saying "May I stand Unshaken, amidst a crash of worlds." is repeated over and over again. It's like he's trying to nail that into his head, pleading to himself that he stays good in a world full of evil. Especially when Arthur eventually meets his end. It's repeated 5 or 6 times, attempting to really emphasize how important it is. I love this song to bits.

its actually something repeated throughout the game, and is something unique about when Rockstar decided to set this game. They didn't set this at the peak of the wild west, when there was lawlessness, and anarchy from cowboys going around robbing ranches and stagecoaches. They chose to set it when the wild west was dying and the modern world and industrialization were coming in and taking all the working hands because of pay, farms started dying, law and private companies (the pinkertons) were becoming so much more prevalent that it wasn't like it used to be, you were hunted across states now. I think this song really does a fantastic job of homing in an almost hopeless feeling, which is something else I feel follows through the entire games plot. I think the low honor version that gets played for 2 seconds is even better at giving that, I kinda wish they released a version of that too.

Authur is the best protagonist video game character ever. Seeing how he changes the way he is and decides the people who he stays with even John. And also seeing how we wants his ways out of the gang just because how he sees the gang falling apart and members getting killed and seeing how Dutch has changed and his attitude all makes sense. This man is the best ever. Authur is my favorite video game character

The trap that tells you to conform and not be yourself. That tells you its cool to be self absorbed and superficial. And its easy to see those that don't see it as gullible fools. To even hate them. Don't hate them. Pity them if you must, but above all, teach them by example. Never let the world tell you its weak to be moral. And remember that I love you all.

I never intended to try this game and i did couple of months back when i went trough very rough period . I game for a long time but never has a game gotten me so deaply moved and invested in it. I still think about the story daily and it gives me some fulfilement i cant rally explain. A true masterpeace

Years ago I was living alone with only my dog to accompany me. She had been with me for nearly 13 years and had recently fell very ill... I knew she didn't have long to live. I remember hearing this song with her sleeping next to me. I looked at her and felt so sad. I knew I'd lose her soon, and I couldn't imagine how my life would be after that. This and 'That's the Way It Is' are songs that always remind me of her. I'll miss her forever.

This Game is a timeless masterpiece. Just lost my Job as the start up I worked for for 4 years went out of business due to poor planning and management. Today I was bawling as I was returning home in my car. It was my last ride. I hope morrow is better and brighter.

My grandpa passed away not too long ago. This song has meaning in different ways. For me, my grandpa's soul stayed undeterred from his faith in god. I'll miss him, but i know i'll see him again someday.

I fcking failed, I graduated actually and now I'm in college, now here I'm really being the best version of myself and I think life is treating me well as well, my whole classroom partners are awesome, it's like we're all friends so I'm in peace, we support each other. And with my group of closer friends I feel in peace too, it's everything I've ever wanted but sadly it's gonna end soon, the semester is about to end and each semester everyone changes partner classrooms and schedules 😔

Zerei a 2 vez semana passada... Nem pode ser chamado de jogo mas sim, uma verdadeira obra de arte. A morte do Arthur, a mudança do Dutch e o Micah traindo a gangue me deixaram com um sentimento de injustiça (mesmo sendo a segunda vez que jogo). Agora estou jogando o epílogo, que dá uma sensação de alívio, a loja do Pearson em Rhodes, o Charles no Canadá (o Chuva Caindo que foi para lá tbm) sem contar na morte do Micah 🙅. Quando terminar pretendo jogar o rdr1 Um detalhe que me deixou meio triste é a morte do Veterano Hamish, muita gente só faz a missão dele pelo cavalo dele(o Buell) mas esse cara era carismático.

When I first got the game I didn't really care for it but then I played it and got attached to the characters, especially the ones who were nice and I saw often..but I could never bring myself to finish the game for a while because I knew what was coming and it hurt but im glad I did eventually though, with old ends comes new beginnings. RIP to every Red dead character who died in the game, you will never be missed.. I think Kieran, Arthur and Hosea's deaths were the one's that shook me the most

You would lose so much if this was made into a movie or tv show, not because I don't think it wouldn't be good but the mediums are so different that a movie or show couldn't capture every aspect of this games story/world something would have to be cut or shortened.

Nah its good as it is. Much better than Hollywood casting someone like Idris Elba or (insert the worst casting choice known to mankind) as Arthur and ruin everything.

@@christiangleason122 A show can capture the essence, but its the casting that worries me the most. Video game adaptations have all been shit so far. TLOU is doing good but then again its HBO...i mean they pulled it off even tho the actors dont look exactly like the game actors. HBO knows how to handle shows. Im worried about Kratos tho.

@@kryptonian1371 it could capture the main essence of the game but you lose so much by switching the mediums. I'm sure they could find a way to make it work esp if they have a good cast like you said but it would be a hard task.
