I know this is off topic, but I love your blouse! I have always loved animals, but I have never had direct contact with chickens. If you ever do a vlog, I’d love to see your chicken. Thank you for always sharing the picture books. I wondered how you went about finding which books you wanted to borrow. Now I know!

@@GloriaZThompson I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE EXTERMINATING MANUSCRIPT BY GEMA CLOUDS A group of young folks decides to make their first vacation in the last year of college school, but they need money so resolve to simulate a kidnap. A fantastic modern unique epic tale.

Oh dear. I predict your child will like Henny Penny the best. My children LOVED the repetitive books. 😂

Kids LOVE repetition! You’ll be reading the same thing over & over for the first 4 years! I read bringing up bebe with my daughter when she was pregnant 🤰🏻!

Love to see that you’re sticking to picture books and to think you’ll have a little one to read them with soon ❤ For cozy reads but with strong characters and plot I recommend The Last Chance Library by Freya Sampson :) I gave it 5 stars as it was so so wholesome and gave me just what I needed at that moment! Wild sounds good! Heard a lot of good things about it

It was such a cute book and I loved the illustrations. But it was annoying to read… although I should probably get used to that with a little one coming. 😅

I loveddd the pictures. But not my fave words. Although, I know little kiddos love repetition.

The author of Wild became a religious person, and does seminars. I saw her a handful of years ago, when her book came out, at the even Women of Joy. A church I was attending goes annually. There were things in the book that had me roll my eyes, I know I'm in low minority of the book, but I was expecting different about her hike. But that could also be because she went into more depth in person. She does have a family and did totally turn around when she looked to God.

As annoying as some of those repetitive books can be kids really love being able to "read" the story because they know the line. Though I do find some of them less annoying than others. I am not sure if you are familiar with The Read Aloud Revival but it's got a ton of picture book recommendations :-)
