When you join Stampin' Up!, you automatically start receiving a 20% discount on all of your personal orders, as well a 20% commission on all of your sales. If your buying and selling increase over and above your minimum requirement, you can eventually increase to 25% discount/commission.
Demonstrators have a minimum sales quota of $300/Quarterly (BEFORE DISCOUNT) which averages to $100/month. You can buy products with your discount to meet the quota OR buy and sell. Keep in mind that the $300 minimum is BEFORE your discount. So if someone joins as a hobby demonstrator, strictly for the discount, the $300 in products only costs you $240 (before tax and shipping). Of course any sales you make help you meet the quota.
The quarters are as follows:
1st Quarter - January - February - March
2nd Quarter - April - May - June
3rd Quarter - July - August - September
4th Quarter - October - November - December
When you join, you will always have a full 3 months to make your first quarterly minimum, so a person almost always has more than 3 months to meet their first quota. For example, if you join in May or June, you will have until the end of September to make your first quarterly minimum.
If you sell and get others signing up under you, (you will be what we call an UPLINE and someone signing up under you are referred to as a DOWNLINE) you can start advancing in titlement and start earning more money.
You will start off with a Bronze Title then advance to Bronze Elite, then to Silver, Silver Elite, etc., on up to Platinum Elite.
