7 жыл бұрынJoshaya fans, you are welcome. Haven't been on Final Cut in a couple of months, felt the muse to cut this and decided to just sit down and do it. Obviously the Girl Meets Ski Lodge two-parter was quite fantastic.
I went back and re-watched all of the legacy GMW episodes (the ones with Josh, Shawn and Eric mainly) and liked the chemistry and dynamic they had set up with Josh and Maya. I think there's a longing in a lot of us to find someone who will be our partner in life, and Josh and Maya found that, even if they have to wait a while before expressing those feelings to each other. Which I think the writers have handled nicely.
There was a nice bit of symmetry in that Sabrina's new single dropped, and it worked incredibly well with the footage. Also, chemistry like Sabrina's and Uriah's doesn't pop up just everywhere. I hope you guys enjoy.
Here's hoping for a quick Season 4 renewal. To quote one of my other favorite shows: Six Seasons and a Movie!

I said the exact same thing. Joshaya is the Cory and Topanga of GMW. The show was writing them to be the great love story. Every scene they have is oozing wiht Chemistry. You can see the way he looks at her, and if he really wasn't interested he would have said something other than too old for you.

The reason why I think Josh is good for Maya is because Josh is probably the only one who actually really acknowledges Maya's worth and embraces who she truly is. He saw past her tough and snarky facade (I think her personality is really like that, she just doesn't show her vulnerable side more often) and saw how she had struggled in the past. He appreciated her and saw her for who she was and understood that and liked her because of it. He has never overlooked her. Yes, he rejected her because of the age gap between them, but even then he respected her. He is a way better match for her than Lucas.

I'd like if they bumped Shawn and Josh up to season regulars. They have great chemistry with Maya (Shawn obviously as a father and Josh as a romantic interest... someday), and the material she gets with them surpasses most of her other moments, I feel anyway (outside of the Maya/Riley scenes). I'd also like to see Corey, Shawn and Josh discuss this whole situation. If my little brother and my daughter's best friend were pining over each other, I think I'd have some thoughts to share. 😉

+Sparkes97 I read that Uriah, who plays Josh was in a motorcycle accident last year and that threw off their plans for season 2. Obviously he's healed up now and i think him coming into play when he did, was indeed the perfect time. As they grow up and the show hopefully gets renewed, I think it will help the cast having Josh as the mentor like figure, and gives him a lot of room for growth. I'm the oldest brother of three siblings, and I know what it's like to always have the young kids around. It adds a lot of depth playing the wise, mature friend, and it'll be interesting to see where they take Josh.

Here’s the thing: Joshaya: is the BEST relationship out of the whole show Lucaya: way more practical and my second choice Rucus: I don’t like it. They don’t have chemistry at all it’s just puppy love not real love that will last Smarkle (or whatever it is): that’ll last forever lol Farkle and Riley: it would work but I like Smackle way to much for that

1:49 is such a simple looking scene but it's so cute! Just the way the frame switches to show the look and smile he gives her just gives a warm fuzzy feeling. All because it's not just a giggly "Stop it" there's so much more then what's on the surface. Like he wants to be serious but with her he can't he just lights up when with her and there's nothing but happiness even if he can't see it.

The strength of ethics it takes to turn down a beautiful girl you have feelings for who reciprocates them with enthusiasm because he knows that right now its not the right thing for them. He had every opportunity to make all the wrong choices that weekend. And I wish we could see him struggling with that a bit more alone, when no one has eyes on him and no one can judge him for his own thoughts and feelings. Coming to that firm decision of "not right now, but we can't let life pass us by waiting"

And I would have loved to have seen Cory talk to Josh about this exact situation, how going on that same ski trip as a teenager and choosing the impulsive romantic moment almost ruined his forever relationship. Josh seems smarter and more responsible than his older brothers, and I like to think part of that is them helping to teach him 'don't make the same mistakes we did'

Because free form never accepted to air it. And creator didnt want it to be on Disney. ( Disney really limited the boundaries of this show) which is why boy meets world is honestly better it covers real deep stuff. Girl meets world is limited by Disney since Disney is aimed towards kids
